That's what I love about MHM tips - they vary so much in different lights, as if they are alive with fire.
I try to take the pictures fully lit so we can see all the lovely variations in the wood.

It kind of reminds me of feathers the way the grain goes.
Love the dark look when not in direct light too.

Jakematic, I looked at yours and looked again......and again; but hubby still wanted the Gaboon Ebony with Red. Even tho the Ebony looks so deep black, shine a light on it and you do get shades of grey or beige in there!

Think that's part of the excited anticipation we experience. We KNOW we can't adequately describe or observe from a posted picture what is exactly going on within the tip and just have a hard time waiting to discover fully what Kayte and Doug did, i.e. "It looks better in person!"

And so today, my "Autumn Day" arrives (I hope); and maybe I'll figure out why Kayte called it that!

Not exactly sweetie, that's just a standard ProVari I got off the Classifieds not long ago.
I didn't care for the line design like I do the tear drop so I got a wrap for it
Then of course I had to match up the DT
