Whatsupbras, lately tips have been put up for purchase on Tues, Thurs and Sat nights at 6 p.m. New Mexico time. The next showing, however, will be next Tues night. Molehill has many Youtube videos of their beautiful tips. One of wood tips you might like is Youtube.com/ watch?v=N66YK5N22wD. Enjoy! :)

    Thanks for your help guys

What would you say the major differences bw acrylic and wood ?

Ive been using acrylic, delrin, glass but just was wondering if wood gives a better flavor overall than those aforementioned materials
Have to agree with Chooch, makes no difference :?:

The only material I know of (personally) that affects the flavor is metal ... nasty!

Contacted molehill to make a custom wooden tip

In the meantime, though, check out the tip i recently ordered, a custom class tip from Spectrum tank (got one of the older designs in purple with the narrower bore)

I know its nothing crazy nice looking like the tips ive seen on here but I have yet to see many nice quality custom glass tips

Let me know did I do well $12 out the door?

    Tips

I have glass tips purchased 2 yrs ago made by a CA blower who's since moved on to other things. I do like them, but way too small for some of my toppers. Like the tip to be proportional to whole setup. Therefore, Molehill Mountain are my favorites coming in different sizes and shapes. Plus, Kayte and Doug are just terrific people!

I second Dale's request that you just gotta let us see what Molehill wood you got!!! :)

I will wholeheartedly agree with my lady buds here. Some metal tips are quite attractive, but yikes on the feeling, the taste, and the ch-ch-chillyness! BLECH!

I love acrylics, and the wooden one. The only difference, and something to keep in mind, is that Molehill does not recommend WASHING the wooden ones. (even tho they are sealed/coated)

    Tips

I was a glass tip lover for quite awhile prior to discovering MM tips. I had this idea that I would like them, should like them, and as beautiful as they are, I just don't find myself reaching for them much anymore. I'm not even sure why, but I just find I prefer my MMs.

Having said that, yes, you did well!!! And the Spectrum are pretty damm good lookin'!

I do like to mix up the length of the tip

I was using this tip (1.75") for the longest time from ePipe mods

Universal Short Saddle Stems Bent - Pipe Stems & Drip tips - Accessories

How CUTE are those! I love pipe stem tips!!! I have only one that was gifted to me....

WAIT! You are not supposed to wash the wooden tips?

That could be a huge problem for me as I rinse my tips out multiple times a day

If that is the case I may have to skip out on the wooden tips from MM

    Damn

No, rinsing is perfectly fine, I rinse all my tips, acrylic or wood.

Whatsup, just wipe them down with a damp cloth and use a pipe cleaner down the air shaft. I take a damp napkin or Kleenx and wipe off tip a couple times a day. Propylene glycol is a germicide, so inside tip would be okay. Where your mouth touches would be germy.....Gargle with Listerine!!! Ha! :)
