There are so many gorgeous tips sitting on the site right now! It'll be fun to see who their owners are, as they come along and discover them. :)

    Hi MatrixTech!
Thanks! We're hunting through our stash to see if we have any of that left. If not, I've pulled out some possibilities. We may be able to track down more of that particular acrylic (and will get on it tomorrow) but it'll take about a week - to order/ship/make the tip. In the meantime, if you'd like, Doug can make the blues we have and see if you like any of them. :) It'll probably be Friday before he can do it.

Let me make sure I've got the shape right -- shorter (somewhere around 1 3/8"?), ming vase shape but with a flat bottom surface. Right? :D

Like the one in my pic:) for reference. (That one is Tru-Stone) But to get that nice brilliant Cobalt blue it pretty much has to be glass or Acrylic, right? But it sounds like you already have a pretty good idea what I'm looking for :)
Gotta love the Cobalt Blue color!! My Fav;)

Ah okay! Yes, he can do that shape for you. :)
This is what I think of when someone says 'ming' so I'm glad you clarified!....

And yeah, to get the beautiful cobalt I'd say it has to be a translucent acrylic or glass. Tru-stone is an acrylic, but very dense because of the stone powder and the type of dye used, so the light won't play with it the same as it does regular acrylics.

I couldn't find that exact acrylic, but I did order a few that looked promising last night, and Doug is going to make a tip or two of some that we have here that you might like in the meantime. I don't know if you read our policy, but there is no obligation to buy when you make a special request. If you don't like it, no problem. We'll just try again. :D
