Congratulations on 2 years! That is so awesome :toast:

You are going to love your Provari. I finally gave in and bought another yesterday. Had to start the New Year off right. I have a pink so I got the Satin Silver this time so it will match more things. I also got into the MVP 2. I really love it so I bought it in black, blue, and "Petals" (MVP 2 Energy). I adore the Petals! I found a 12 pack of wraps for them for $3 so the black one is going to be a sparkly purple. Out of all the mods I've tried it comes the closest to matching the performance of the Provari. Would love to have a VTR but I'm afraid it would be too heavy for me. How does its weight feel to you, Kayte?

Your youngest grandchildren have sure grown and boy, are they ever gorgeous! Both my husband and my daughter's were working on Thanksgiving and Christmas so we all spent the holidays at my dad's. It was great to have both of my children and grandchildren for the holidays. My dad hadn't seen my son, Charlie, in over 10 years!

Can't wait to see pics of your new setup. The white would sure look nice with a white pinecone tip! They are really beautiful. When I was making candles I made some with pinecones embedded in the outer layer. Many of the tips you make remind me of different candles I used to create. :)

Thanks Bukket! My provari still isn't here and I'm getting a little testy. (Mail already came today.) :glare: I can hardly wait! I just happen to have a white pine cone tip... but it goes so beautifully on my red K100. Not sure I could change that! Actually, I don't think the provari will be white for long. Not if my wrap idea works out. :D I'm just not sure about doing a wrap on a mini. What do you do about the extension cap? Order a tiny matching wrap for it? Order a full size wrap and cut it? (I've never gotten a wrap before.)

I've seen candles with pine cones... so pretty!

My son has an MPV and really likes it. Now he wants a VTR, since he saw Doug's. lol It is very heavy! It weights over 13oz, so almost a pound! I love how beautifully it works, but I don't want one. Possibly some day if I decide to get into weight lifting.
Love the Petals MPV 2! So fun! And the one called Frost. Sparkly purple sounds perfect though. That's a great deal on wraps!

I'm so glad you got to have your kids and grandkids together! Sounds like it was quite the reunion for some. Perfect!

Oh Kayte, wish I'd known you were looking for pink, red or purple. They do still have them, but they are under clearance now. Oh wait - maybe I just enabled you to get a second one! :nods:
I just about cried reading that. My first choice was pink, so I'm glad to see that the only pink is full size and not a mini. Whew! I would have gotten the purple, but that's okay. I won't feel as badly putting a wrap over the white as I would over the purple. Right?
Get a 2nd?

Hope everyone is having a good day. Mine would have been better if the post office wasn't dillydallying.

I may have to go down there and visit the postman...

Kayte, when I got a jwrap for my mini, it came with a little matching strip for the extension. I don't use an extension, so I used it to wrap a tank, hee hee.

Kayte same as QRXT whenever I've ordered a mini wrap there is a part for the extension. I've had a lot of fun with the wraps through time..
Thank you both!! That's great to know! :)

Good morning all! :) Stay in, stay warm, and...... I need some info. Got some wraps for Christmas gift: red, purplish, and mauvish for my black MVP 2. Fortunately, there's young people with sharp eyes and steady hands that will put them on for me.

For those of you who have used them, how long do they last? Do you change them out before they ever wear out? If I should try to put on myself, is there only so many times I can correct placement before it won't stick any more? :p

Bukket5, where did you find such a great deal on them? You can change out once a month! :)

I have had very good luck with the wraps, having to adjust them several times and/or changing them out. I just change them when I get bored..keep the paper they came on and just stick them back on that for reuse. The only exception was the clear wraps...those just weren't for me...I destroyed them:D

Hope it goes well ccgranny! You'll have to let me know since I'll be venturing into a wrap before too long. (Hopefully!)

I have some bee-u-ti-ful tips today! :D

Fruit Salad Random Segemented - Wood, capped on both ends with dark chocolate Acrylic. (Woods: Cherry, Apricot, 2 kinds of Plum, Peach and dyed wood veneers.)

It's a very tall tip (2 inches) so to give you scale here it is on a VTR. Looks perfect on it!

Purple Reflections - Glitter Acrylic (Photos don't do it justice!)

Oh boy

:D Let's see it then ;)

LOL's! Edit: It's beautiful Kayte!! You like it huh? :?:
I do! The mini is a good size and it's easy to adjust the voltage. I haven't put the bigger battery with extension in yet, but I like mini mode. And my tip has silver glitter, which ties it together so nicely with the white mod.

I've kept all mine in mini mode too Kayte, even tho' LB did get me some longer battery's I've discovered I prefer the shorter look ;)

I'll look for a shape for that purple glitter :)

Oh my, Kayte, it looks so pretty! You're going to love the way the ProVari works each and every time. White goes with anything especially the colors you prefer.

I'm lovin' on the segmented wood, but it's too tall even for me! :( Looks wonderful on Doug's VTR which can handle the heighth. Had one in my hand back last Oct. and it was one heavy piece but beautiful in design.

I did the wrap just fine (mauvish). Only problem with it on MVP is around window where it won't stick even tho I wiped down with alcohol. Everything else lays down perfectly. No problem. There's so little surface around the window there for carbon fiber to grab a hold of that it pops up. Will take it to shop where hubby got it and ask them what to do. Anyway, the Soft Pink Glitter, Pretty in Pink and even Sparkle Gems look beauti-mous on it.......and then there's the purplish one. I change out tips by the hr now, what in the heck am I going to do with wraps?.......I'm really, really becoming a sad case.....
