All of this love and fun y'all are sharing makes this post a bit of a downer......with a heavy heart and palm to forehead, I must report that Piney took another fall about a half an hour ago  I think she died this time. I'm just as sad as she is right now, and the ol man says that he won't buy me one because I only break the ones that are a gift, not the one I purchased myself!

Oh no!!!!! I'm so sorry!!!!

Oh, Reptifarm, am so sorry!

CharmSchool, where'd you find that?! See? Wasn't kidding about my white hair....and office looking attire.....If I got one of those black Scenic City Vapers T-shirts, do you think I could get away with putting a white collar (dicky) on it? CharmSchool, pls tell me why black is the de rigour color. Don't young people know it washes the color right out of you, and only a few people can wear it really well especially up next to their face? :(

More often than not...I am thankful I don't have an "ol man" anymore. Life is much more pleasant for me....except when something breaks around here. Then I may wish I knew of one to "rent".

That pic is on the Facebook page, along with some pretty sweet comments about you. You should join the group. In fact, all of you MMM fanatics can join. Dimi is such a vaping activist, membership isn't limited to "locals only". We've got people from other countries, much less other states. I'm one of the page admins, so I can guarantee your request will be approved, lol!

I think Vintage & MOV (and maybe a few other local B&M's) will be carrying the shirts. I think the black tee with a dickie would look great on you! I can't stand crew necks, so I cut the band off mine before I even put it on yesterday. As to the black color, Dimi & Terrell did the design. Did you also notice the smallest size available was medium? Men!

Aww! That's great! Wish we could have seen choochoo's beautiful face though. We see Phil's all the time.

If you want to take a pic of it and PM me, I'll show it to Doc Doug and see if there's any hope at all. :(

Hey Kayte! The wrap is on punchbowl, and I think you've seen it before. It's just clear peel & stick contact shelf liner cut into letter paper size. I ran through a color laser printer, then put an extra layer on top to protect the ink. If you make a paper template first, cutting the lines isn't quite as difficult. The good news is at $3 to $4 per roll, you get lots of chances to get it right without crying over it.
Oh, and I NEED you & Doug. I won this at the meet last night: e-fire_rood_voorkant.jpg
It's absolutely screaming for a wood tip. The wood on mine is a bit red in tone, like mahogany or cherry, and the metalwork is all aged bronze. You know me & bling, so I'm thinking possibly a segmented wood or wood/clay combo. Any ideas jump out at either of you?

Hey Dale!! Isn't it cool? I had no idea they existed. It' just an ego/vision spinner (yep, VV) in a carved wooden tube. There are several designs available, and it looks like they retail for between $50 & $65. It's called a Vision E-Fire.

It sure is! Glad you won it :)
Does that mean you can change out the battery if the one in it dies? Kind of like a "sleeve"?

Choochoo and Charm sounds like you have a great time. That mod you won is beautiful Charm:p It's so cold here today I have no ambition at all.
Yes, we did have fun, once Choochoo recovered from the tackle, and my jumping up & down begging to see all her tips!

As of now, I don't see a way to change the battery, but all my +1 year old spinners are still going strong, since they're not "all day" devices for me, only used for going out. I did think of you very first thing when I held it - I know you have at least one wood tip already. (and yes, "at least one" was said
    sarcastically, lol!)

:p I can't help it! I've never counted "just" the wooden one's, lols!

Well darn! Looks like it would be better if you could change it out  Still super nice tho'.

Thanks for the shelf paper info!

Oh my gosh. I love that mod! I just googled it I want the one named Harvest. Or maybe Dragon. (My grandkids would think that was beyond cool, so maybe I shouldn't.) Two of my spinners just died. I replaced one last night so I'm guessing that one of these isn't on my 'can have' list at the moment.

I do have an idea. Translating it from my head to an actual tip will be a challenge. Doug cringed when I told him and left the room. I'll be working on him.... because now that it's in my head, I have to try it! :D

I showed him the mod and he thinks the reddish looks like red oak. The brown looks like walnut. Any way you can find out for sure for me?

Sounds like a good day for popcorn and a movie Iowa.

Okay, just for you CharmSchool I joined Facebook.....still not sure that I did it right. Now, do I join the Scenic-City Vapors group? or am I okay with just joining Facebook?.....My brain's beginning to fry......

Isn't that a pretty mod you won! I've shown hubbs these very nicely carved beauties, "O-o-o-oh, looka this here, honey. Amazing what they're doin'. Isn't it just so pretty?" hint, hint, hint........Nope, was never very good at taking hints before; and now that we're that much older, the "short term" memory lapses (Where'd you put MY wallet?) happen. :glare:

 Actually, don't think you tackled me, CharmSchool. We both jumped over the table at the same time! :p It was so fun to actually meet someone as into tips as I am and recognizes quality work!

I think I'd hold off for a bit on buying one myself, as the new stuff always comes down in price after the initial rush. It does appear the more expensive version comes in the wood box with a top coil clearo (like mine). I think you can find only the battery for closer to $40 now. Still pricey, but I'm actually a bit worried about holding it for chain vaping sessions anyway. Seems like the long term effects of the warmth & moisture from my hand might not be a good idea.

And Yay! One of the many reasons I love you! I knew you'd see it! The fact that Doug is afraid is proof. For color matching, I think I'd like to send it to you to play with (temporarily, of course!). The carved out section might even benefit from a lighter stain, and some additional CA finish. Of course, I'd pay for any additional services, and postage both ways. How does that sound?

Oh, I'm so sorry to cost you your Facebook virginity! Just don't start playing any games and you'll be fine. PM me the name you used to join & I'll find you, and send you an invite to the group.
