Not me! Not me! :nun: Just bought batteries this a.m. and am sitting on hands until week over.....I think.:p

Can anyone tell me just when you should replace AW IMR batteries? Am not getting near the hours out of them, and the oldest were bought last Sept. Do you use until they won't work anymore or recharge?

Not a fan of AW's but I have a couple. They don't hold up as well as Sonys or Efest imo.

AW's are/(were?) the gold standard for anything other than sub-ohm. I have a few, and use them in my Provari. Nearly a year old now, I don't notice any less time (not sure I would though) - light starts blinking, I change the battery.

For sub-ohm, I have Efest, Sony, and LG - can't tell any difference between them all.

Yeah, Sirius and JohnD., ProVape requires that you use the AW's or warranty voided. I chain vape all day long, and didn't expect my batteries to last as long as a "normal" person's. I'd suspect sub ohming uses up batteries pretty quick too, but since I don't am not sure. Since this is my very first set of batteries to have to replace, just didn't know what signs show up to indicate to replace them now or soon.

Awww... thank you! I try really hard to come up with new methods and techniques. Gotta keep things interesting! (Which is a lot of why I love my job!!! Every now and then something great falls out of my brain and onto a tip!)

I'll do my best to make a similar of the climbing rose. It'll most likely be the same only different.

What a nice husband! Shake his hand for me and tell him 'well done'! :D
Can't wait for you to get the tip! Thanks Bukket!

I think Doug needed a break from girly roses and pansies. He's gone wooden on me.
Be back shortly with some beautiful wood tips!

I'll be good. Yep, ... not gonna say word. ;)

CCG, you vape on two Provis, correct? How many sets of batteries do you have? From your post, I'm almost thinking you have only one or two, and you're taking them out, charging them, and immediately using them again? Need deets, girl.

Thanks guys! Yep, got 10 batts: 4 18650, 4 18490, and 2 18350. :D.....always in rotation. Hubby made me a rack so I could keep track. I recoil anywhere from 1.8 to 2.2 ohms, but like I said, I chain vape........'cause I have nothing better to do! :p

Katdarling, what I have are two MVP's (v1 & v2) and 4 ProVaris. Hubby uses the black MVP and the original matte silver ProVari. However, the guy vapes so little, I might change out his 18650 battery once every 3 mos.!

I haven't used any other mods except the MVP and the ProVari. They've given me great service and what I need.......Same with the ProTanks and Davides. Know there's suppose to be better out there, but I'm okay with what I got......especially the colored glass.

What I seem to focus on are the Molehill tips. I just can't get enough of them!

Alrighty then! You're in great shape. My AWs last forever it seems. I've been buying and using and recharging most of them for 3 years now. I dunno. I think they have a great reputation for good reason.

So you like those Molehill drip tips, eh? ;)

I sorta kinda maybe do a lot..lol :D

Well, they 'recommend' AW's, but what they're really trying to say is that you should use a button-top IMR. They pretty much force you to use a button-top because of the recessed positive post on the circuit board. It's a safety feature so you don't put the battery in upside down. I have yet to run into someone using a mechanical that realizes that putting the battery in upside down is a huge safety hazard.
