Just hang on a minute, Boyo! You said earlier you were thinking about getting a ProVari! Now you getting three....THREE....3.....Reos?! What made you change your mind? :?: Thought only wimmins changed their mind. We certainly get joked about it enough. :glare:

Had a bit of an accident with my kicked mech..put the battery in upside down and fried the kick2. Damage $45. So no big deal but I'm too ruff on things. I would surely trash a Provari eventually. These Reos are built like trucks. Not all three but the one on the far left Chooch.

Not quite there yet! We have a plumber coming on Tuesday to run a new line for the washer, put in a new toilet and fix an outside faucet that's leaking badly. So Tuesday is laundry day! Should I worry that my 20 year old washer is going to bite the dust as soon as it's hooked up again? Isn't that how it usually goes?:laugh:

We had a lightening strike in our front yard years ago. It took out the pump in our well and a clock. But did it hit my ancient, avocado green fridge? Oh heck no. Of course not. I was so disappointed. I hauled that ugly fridge with us when we moved into this house and found out that I could paint it! I got the proper paint and it looked wonderful... like a brand new fridge. I was so pleased with my accomplishment. And it died two weeks later.:sneaky:

I don't think I've ever been terribly excited to have a plumber come, but I am this time!

We had so much fun today. Our sweet daughter has been doing our laundry through all of this (almost a year) which was just such a huge help! So to thank her, we got her an antique typewriter and gave it to her today. She had seen it in a shop over here and wanted it badly so I knew she'd be thrilled. She was!

I'm excited for you that you'll be on your way to Alaska soon to see your daughter! I can hardly wait for you to lay your eyes on her. Will you have access to the internet or are we going to have us a welcome back party when you return?

I just saw this and I lmao Kayte! Too funny girl.

Shoot, Sirius, the black Reo do look nice! :) But you mustn't have read about the sturdiness and reliability of the ProVari. Why there is a person who deliberately did a water test on it to see if the chip would survive. It did.....swimmingly! Then there was the accidental drop from a second story window to sidewalk below.....a scratch, and a "drive over" by a truck, then.......Well, the only thing it didn't survive was a run in with a lawn mower.......:(

Probably wouldn't survive a dunk in a deep lake either. Didn't you lose another one that way? :( The ProVari is also protected from the battery unside down mistake. Think the Reo is too. Is the Reo less expensive so IF it goes swimming with the lake fishes, you won't feel so bad? Maybe it's the box shape you like and you can squeeze (squonk?) that 10 ml bottle of perfectly delicious all day long joose?! :w00t:

REOS can go swimming, survive a fall off a motorcycle going 65 plus, run over by a big truck, dust it off and keep vaping. Also indestructible. And easy to repair on your own if needed.

Both Provari and REO are well crafted, American made mods. Provari wasn't my cup of tea and I sold mine.

Lmbo I don't know how to simply answer but I will try!
Yes Chooch, I have read some of the stories, but Provari hasn't ever had to be as tough as it would have to be around me.

Besides I'm not a big fan of the toppers for those VV/VW devices.

Only lost the one Nemmy Chooch. She jumped overboard and is now deep six.

I'm a carto tank and protank2 girl. They're both easy to use and I like that. Dripping sounds interesting, but I've never gone that route because I don't want to wrap coils and I really really don't want to have to learn about ohms and I would pity anyone that tried to teach me at this point.
The tobacco flavor that I like (which tastes nothing like any tobacco I ever had!), tastes wonderful in a carto tank. I don't like it at all in the protank. My favorite cartos are resurrector carts, which Bukket told me about. I'm sticking with them until she tells me she found something better.
I'm happy with what I have and don't really need to hunt for anything better now. Love love my provari minis, really enjoying my new MVP2 (YAY) and still like my eGos okay. I feel like the only mistake I made in purchases was my K100... just because the bottom button is too hard for my hands.

I'll be back to post tips in a few minutes. :)

I'm glad that you like the resurrectors so well! They are great and very well made. I do use Boges but they tend to be hit or miss. I bought 100 in a co-op and they were horrible. About 1 of every 3 worked! I just bought another 100 from Health Cabin. They have the slotted and really good prices. Even with $20 for DHL shipping they ended up costing about 85 cents each and arrived in 3 days. (I go through a lot of cartos!) Most of my tanks only use regular size cartos so they won't take the resurrector. I did just get a gripper (mod) for $8 and it is the perfect size for a resurrector! It's really small and I love it. It doesn't hold a tank, the carto is inside the mod making it the size of your palm. It's black and I have a beautiful black and white Molehill tip that lives on it.

I've got about 40 mechanical mods that haven't seen much use lately. Ever since I bought my 2nd Provari and 3 MVP2s I'm just not happy unless I can change the voltage easily. I do have a bunch of kick clones for my K100s but I haven't been using them much lately. I will be once I get them unpacked though! I really love them and I'm so sorry you have trouble with yours. Most of mine have a button that's soft as butter. I have one that's tougher to push so I swap it with another to use. I think I own every color.

Kayte lines them up and they get knocked down. Such a rugged life us Molehill Mountaineers have. lol

Oh my Bukket..my Lab Rat is smart as a whip! Sweet as any Lab and Idk why that lady didn't tell me she was mixed? No worries I got a great dog again. I miss my American Bulldog but I couldn't let her suffer with cancer so I had to put her down.

Isn't Choochoos siggy awesome? Well deserved too. Only thing is, Idk how much more swollen that head can get? lmbo
Ya Choo!

Sirius, so glad to hear about your Lab Rat. It took 4 years after I lost my first Rott for me to get another dog. It's only been a few months since we lost Itsy and I'm already thinking that I want another puppy. Kitty acts more like a dog than a cat but I miss having a dog around. Especially since hubby is gone for 2 weeks at a time. But I don't think I'll get another Rott. They are my favorite breed but do require a fair amount of training and I always have to be the master of the pack. We probably won't get the yard fenced until next summer. But if I come across the right small dog I'll figure out a way! Even if I have to take her out on a leash for a while.

Hi Bukket! Good to see you in your new home , bad to hear 'bout the cable guy . Some people feel okay taking out their problems on some innocent strangers. Haven't ever heard a good enough reason why, and hitting them with a baseball bat until they say sorry ought to be legally allowed! ........Bet Larry wouldn't have done that to you! Get 'er done!

BTW, am soon going "North to Alaska" to visit oldest daughter. I'm putting in more time trying to figure out what vaping gear to take (all of it?) than anything else. I can buy any other thing up there I forgot to pack, but not vape stuff ; so every vape thing I pack is going in the cabin with me! Got to be sure to bring "Kittens", pg. 537, post 5368, aka "Lucy" for grandchild to pick out for me to vape on.

Congrats on the move, Bukket! Lots of hard work, and believe me the stuff that needs to be done ain't going away! So, don't work so hard you make yourself sick......or bent! Your "movie day" sounds perfect.

Hi Choochoo! Thank you. Yes, I'm going to be doing things slower from now on. We just had the big push to get everything out of the old house. Finishing that up today. Yay! Dave says I have until Thanksgiving to unpack all the boxes. I've already planned Thanksgiving at the new house and invited everyone. Lol. My dad doesn't like to leave his house on holidays so I gave him plenty of warning and pulled the daughter card. He's never had a holiday dinner at my home!

Where does your daughter live? We have about 4 vape shops in Anchorage now but I haven't been in any. Dave checked out 2 of them for me and told me that I had more supplies than they did! So no sense visiting them. First Class mail has been arriving in 3 days so you can still shop for tips. :) If you're anywhere near Anchorage I have lots of everything if you run out!

All this talk I see about Ahlusion juices, are they really that good? I'm within easy driving distance from them, but I've never been there.

I'm so jealous! You must stop in and sample all the flavors!! You can take an atomizer or they'll sell you one for $1 (I think that's what they charge) so you can sample everything. If you've never used one they'll show you how. They are really that good. Ahlusion makes over 80% of their own flavorings and are also a large wholesaler so chances are you've tasted something they made. It's the only juice I vape anymore.

I agree with some of the rest on building coils and stuff. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I am pretty sure my hands couldn't swing that small stuff nor my "old" eyes. LOL So far I am happy with the nautilus getups but I am sure the vape is better on cartos and rebuilt coils...but I'll have to stick to the prefab stuff

Cartos are really easy to use and are the original prefab way to vape. You can get them unpunched and just fill and vape. With a tank you just fill the punched or slotted carto and put in from the bottom and fill the tank. But I have a Nautilus, too, and I love it! So you are getting a great vape. :) Plus the Nautilus looks great with so many of the Molehill tips! I have a striped white, silver, and gold tip that is gorgeous on my Nautilus with my silver Provari.

Have any of you bought the Provari tank ring? It works great! Makes the top flat and they only charge $9.95 for it. I bought one for each of mine. It really allows for better airflow, too.

No, no, no, Robin & Sirius! Wasn't "dissing" Reos! Know they are fantastic mods, but wanted to know your deciding factor being that they are both work horses, reliable, sturdy, Am. made and repairable! :)

Think the Reo more suitable for warmer vapes? Can shove those watts way up there? Perfect for dripping?

Since I'm a "cooler", low wattage type vaper and am constantly changing up juices, would the Reo be suitable for me? See, I'm still trying to find out things and thought I could get an unbiased opinion here amongst friends. I've held them in the local B&M. The bigger one is too uncomfortable in my hand, but the small one feels pretty good. And, there was a sparklely red one in there too.

You can build whatever resistance you want on them and changing out juices is easy peasy. Pull the bottle, screw in the new one and can even cap the old one if there's still juice you want to save.

Pull the wick, dry burn add new wick and you're good to go. You can literally clean it in the sink under hot water and dish detergent.

I prefer the mini to the Grand myself for comfort, and I like changing juices often, so 3 mls is perfect for me. The mini takes 18490s.

And flavor and clouds, nothing comes close (for me). Not even my Provari topped with a KFL+.

Hey, Mommabird! I sure don't go up in winter when its 40 below, and the "kids" find any reason to visit a warmer climate for 2-3 weeks! We've gone up as early as May and as late as October. The weather is fine then, but you do try to avoid their "rainy" time and their "mosquito" time. Will be going soon enough for me to start panicking about what to take....vape wise. Like to prepare things way ahead of time. :p

That's good information to know, Robin. Thank you! :) What kind of topper do you use? Is it easy to learn and will I be able to use my Molehill tips?

I find that I need a yes on this or I just won't buy it, no matter how wonderful a tank/topper may be. I break my own rule for Unique tanks though, no tip needed, but they are works of art too.

All I use are MolehillMountainArt tips! I use the Reomizer the Rob sells, also referred to as the RM2.

Any bottom fed rebuildable will work If you get the low profile version of the REO. Low profile just means that the catch cup is milled down to accept wider diameter RBAS.

Also get a more neutral color like black or white and you can even buy extra doors in different colors so you can match your tip collection!

Well dang, Robin, sounds really good, and will do some more checking! THEN will have to wait for the ProVari 3 to come out this yr to see what that's all about. THEN have to make a choice for my 1 yr vape-aversary. Could get both? Missed the Summer Equinox present......Hm-m-m-m-m

Edit: That's Summer Solstice......as if that made a difference. :p
