Thank you all for the kind words. I wish I was full of good things to say in tribute as some of you have, but I just feel exhausted.
I want to crawl under the covers...early. Have a good night all.
Hugs back.
I know mom is in a better place. And that is what matters most. She will be missed. <3

MerryH and KeepSmiling... I'm so sorry for your losses. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Merry... what you wrote about your dad was absolutely beautiful. Brought tears to my eyes... happy tears that you have such beautiful memories. Thanks for sharing!

I lost my sister six years ago (wow... doesn't seem that long!) and my dad 3 1/2 years ago. (Also lost two long time friends in that span.) Grief is hard no matter what, but you're right, it helps so much when we can remember things to smile and laugh about.

My sister was a singer. I'll have to share a song or two from her CD with you guys. ;)

Right now, I just have a tip to share. ;)

Under the covers is a good place to be. That's exactly where I was for days after my sister passed. There are still days I can go there. It's important to let yourself grieve.

    I so agree, Kayte.

I'm still a bit ...... at my Mom a bit here and there---For not forcing me to write down that recipe or making me actually listen to the family history lessons and silly little things like that.

It's been quite awhile for me, and now that time has passed I also easily say that the weeks following, with my sisters and I closing the old "homestead", are loaded with many fond memories I cherish. I wish all to have similar good times and such memories, when the time is right.

Hey, Angelphyre, got my 5 ml Nauti with the sleeve in today! Really do like the diamond cutouts on it, and your Purple Satin Floral looks spendid on top. Do like how Kayte painted those flowers with sparkley centers and those dots.

When I got the tank in, immediately took apart and washed. Q-tipped it dry, changed out the old type coils for the new vertical, filled it up, and drained it dry in 4 hrs! Which is twice as long as it takes for me to use up the mini 2 ml. My wattage is a bit over 8 at 4 volts on the ProVari, so it's not like I'm blasting it with power! :p Told you I chain vape! :vapor:

I do like the looks of it with the beauty ring and find that my fatter, thicker, longer tips make the whole setup look more proportional with this bigger, wider tank especially in the longer battery mode. Using the Tatroe extension ring at the bottom using the 18490 helps balance all that silver up top, and using the same extension ring using the 18650 with the ProVari's matching mod color bottom cuts up the long look of the tube. Does it sound like I'm having fun yet?

Yay chooch! i knew you would love that full Nauti once you got your hands on one. And the hollowed out sleeves are so classy :D Vape on!

Ah, if only I did it just at home, then life would probably be a lot simpler...but alas, no, I feel the need to take them with me when I go to work (you should see them all lined up on my desk...but hey at least they're pretty to look at!)...and take at least 2 or 3 when I go out!

Same here angel-I always have atleast 3 in my purse ( 2 provaris and a Hana) a couple of bottles of juice, batts for the provaris, charging cord for the Hana and coils;) Ya just never know when you may need it and I like variety. ;)

thats for sure MBird. I am in conversation to ascertain a dealers version after they begin selling them. lol and then getting my wife one as well. I really like whats coming . and the 2.5 is not obsolete. which I was not about to abandon my Provari anyway. just give them a shining new big brother.

and yep yup Choochy. it is what it is. when you turn the mod up and chain vape. it is going to blow thru juice. I rotate between 4 tanks right now. all of which are sitting on mods. and they all vale great. the difference is really in the juice. lighter juices I vape between 4.2-4.6 and darker goes from 4.5-5 volts. I have noticed that my juice doesn't darken now. or get gunky with these coils. I am stilll really impressed with these things. I vowed to hold off on lifting them up until everyone got a good chance to chime in. and I think that time has come. really just waiting on Mrs Kaytes overall opinion on how she likes hers.

hope everyone is doing good. and hope you are doing good KeepSmiling we are all feeling your loss, as family does

KS, first to you: I'm so sorry. It's been quite the loss week around here, yet I know in my heart that it feels so good to have a place like our MM thread in which to hang, chill, vent, grieve, giggle and every form of human emotion.

    Somehow,
...... we all get thru it all, don't we...

    That's ALL?

KD of at least 5 stick batts, one cheapo battery box mod, and one "good" one. Hardly room for money in that purse.

Good day Mountaineers :) Hoping that all are well.

Question for my coil building buddies- I am used to 1.6-2.0 so what size Kanthal wire, how many wraps and your choice of wicking material do you like for this. I have been watching videos and knocking things around in my head ;) I see soooooo many different ideas on the ECF threads and just want to hear from y'all. I also want to keep it real simple. :D

Haven't gotten anything yet but looking. My first purchase will be an ohm meter.

    Thanks :D

Mommabird, I've been using 30 gauge A-1 Kanthal (RW0107) from Temco. 100' spool is cheap. Have been using organic cotton balls, but now am trying the CelluCotton from Sally's Beauty Supply. If you want to try, pm me your address and I'll send you some. Hubbs got the 500' box (Graham 44060). It's working out pretty well for the short time I've been trying it.

Got a little coil jig by K.K. Vapetek. There are others out there that can be had cheaper. Made it easier for me over using a screw or Allen wrench. If you're half way blind like me, "Helping Hands" at Harbor Freight ($8) with a mag. glass and light sure helps.

You'll do good by buying the ohm meter; and guarantee after your first "build" will feel "accomplished"! :toast:

30ga kanthal, organic sterile cotton wick, single coil builds here. If I want more flavor, I will twist 2 strands of the 30ga on a power drill and torch the wire before wrapping the coil so it holds it's shape easier. For the twisted wire I usually do 5-6 wraps 2mm and it puts me right around 1.1-1.2 ohms. For one strand of 30ga not twisted, you can probably do 6-8 wraps at 2mm to get in your desired range around 1.6-2.0 ohms.
