I got one of those trophy goblet wine glass things and never once thought of filling it. I could say, "I ONLY had one glass!" Bring yours over too.....We'll polish off the bottle just having one glass apiece.....No fuss, no muss, no getting up and down to refill.....Love saving steps.

I like the idea of having a Themed Sale Nite posted once a month or so, announced in advance and on FB, similar to what was done with the Man Cave Theme.
But, I fear this thread may go off the rails if we don't see new tips every couple of days.

I have no clue whatever how Doug and Kayte (who probably don't know Austin at all) managed to come up with the perfect tip for the mod he was giving the ink patina to, WHILE HE WAS DOING IT 2,000 MILES AWAY.

Right idea, but something a bit more manly - REAL aluminum filings (not glitter), that sparkle only silver (no colors). Think metal sawdust...
Speaking of sawdust Kayte... Doug ever consider mixing sawdust in acrylic? Mixing different colors, in a very dense mix (not transparent)? Trying to imagine if that would look good or not
I'm curious about the potpourri process you use, Kayte...does the herbage for it need to be specially prepared? I would *LOVE* to have a catnip blossom tip, if I can figure out how to preserve the delicate lavender of the blooms. Not to mention, we have some pretty sassy miniature purple wildflowers in Ziglar's trail woods that might be stunning...

My guess is it would end up looking like fiberboard or Masonite. Probably not all that attractive. However... Sawdust AND aluminum shavings blended together like Kayte does her potpourri girly tips might end up being interesting. Something I would like to see is a hybrid random segmented tip, like various little pieces of wood sanded and polished into random shapes and all of those pieces cast into clear acrylic that then gets turned into a drip tip, polished and sealed. So you would be able to look into the tip and see all the unique bits of wood, rather than just the surface that shows when it's all wood. Once my wallet recovers in a few weeks, i could volunteer to be the guinea pig for Doug if he's willing to give it a shot.
