Probably the best brother. I did the same thing. Ordered 0. Emailed. And the accidentally shipped 0. So they resent the entire order in 6. Like. Wow. That's customer service

I reckon I didn't go far enough back. And I really don't have time to sit down and read all the vendor forum rules. Are we not suppose to mention any other vendor or something?

Only vendors that aren't registered on ECF. The Plume Room is a registered vendor.

Hard to squonk a nautilus, outcome unclear... But you keep on lifting that pinky like a boss. ;-)

Only problem is they'd have to stay there for awhile.
That's the hard part.

I know! Kayte could list tips with 0 available. List them as coming soon, get us all drooling then randomly set the quantity to 1 on tips at various times of day/week. We would know what's there, just never when we can pull the trigger on the one we want.

Kayte - Has Doug ever considered doing some metal work? Mixed metal tips, mixed metal/wood tips - could be a whole new generation of fun. Imagine a random segmented metal tip? Or, even a mixed metal/wood random segmented? I know nothing about lathes, so maybe it takes a different kind to do metal cutting... Just thinking out loud as usual. :)

I hope you folks can think back to Kayte's commentary about the klutzy software she has to work with for that website, and understand that your fantasies are insanely cool, but mabe not doable. That being said, awesome ideas!!!! I just want a MhM crystal ball that will look a week into the future with my heart's desire in its abilities, and simply tell me when I need to have moneys available in my paypal in case I'm lucky enough to have fast fingers on the right day.

The Bamboo tip is still up on the site. Thought someone already snagged it?

Lets look at your stomach virius in a different way, Mommabird. :) Once you're done with it, weigh yourself. That's what your offical weight is for the rest of the year! :p That's my lemons to lemonade tactic. :D

LOL Chooch I sortof wanted to get rid of 5lbs but no more and I think that I accomplished that;) If I drop any more than that my docs will have a hissy fit;) They are always fussing at me telling me to gain even tho I eat pretty well ;)

Good to see you back Sirius! hope that the shots hit their mark;)

Seeing more pretty tips and mods on here! I have two MHM in the works and can't wait to get my hands on them :D

Got some vapemail today so that perked me up a bit.

Crazy day so I skipped catching up on the chit chat. Looks like mommabird isn't feel well... hope you feel better quickly!
If I missed something you/anyone needs me to know... repeat, please? :D

I've just listed four beautiful woods. The first may be known as the 'oldest' drip tip in the world... as in ancient. Really! How cool is that?!

SOLD Ancient Bog Oak - Here's the write-up on it:
Your purchase is a product made out of authentic Bog Oak from The Fens in England. It is between 4-6,000 years old.

Thousands of years ago, this wood was buried in peat bogs which preserved them from decay. Bog oak is in the earliest stages of fossilization. If left untouched for millions of years, it would form into coal and lignite. It's dark brown color is an effect of the tannins in acidic water which stain the wood.

Oh!! This is soooooo beautiful!!
Yes it is!

For anyone's info, I forgot to add in the description that Doug said this is a fairly rare coloring for bloodwood and that it probably isn't a piece that would 'match' most of the bloodwood mods. :)
And, the Bog is gone.
I thought that one would go fast! Such a fascinating thing that you can pull a piece of ancient oak from a bog and it's still usable! From what I understand, during the 19th century it was often used to carve jewelry and decorations.
