Oh, I LIKE the new experiment, Kayte. Reminds me of a black leopard's coat. Would go so well on a bronze ProVari and a guy could use it too! :D........Wait! Think I got that turned around.....I mean if it's HIS it doesn't come off my vape budget. :p

Thanks for the grats on my early birthday present. Hubbs is so relieved I finally made up my mind and he didn't have to go shopping.....except for a new saw he has his eye on. AND that will be his Christmas present cause his birthday isn't until May!.....We seem to be getting ahead of ourselves here. :p

Yeah...... don't be so sure on that one, honey pie... ;)

Congrats on the VaporShark Chooch!

Well... Doug wasn't doing what I thought he was doing today. :sneaky: So, I just have the new experiment to show you. I like it! I'm anxious to play with the concept some more. :D Hope you like it!

I like it. Looks cool.

Congrats on the vaporshark Choochy. Sending one back next week. So I will report in with how their customer service really is. I have heard nightmare tales of it. But I already have a good idea of what this is going to be. Not looking for. A freebie in other words. I know we did wrong. And have to pay to fix. Is what it is.

Hempy, I asked Jason of VaporShark if I put the battery in the wrong way and fried my chip could they replace it. Yup, for $80. Didn't think to ask him if that was on top of the $25 initial charge. Am thinking I will continue to charge the battery with the external cord and plug so I am less likely to mess up. I've read the rDNA thread too, Hemp, and there are those who were well satisfied with their repair service too. The only thing I'm doing to it now is putting on different color skins. Just got thru with giving it it's first charge. 6 hrs it took but the only adapter I have is a 500 mah. Will look for one with a little more umph. Have learned to put it in stealth mode to lessen the drain on the battery since the display doesn't turn off for 2-3 min. AND since I chain vape, it hardly ever has a chance to turn off!!!!

yea there is always something. with the big VS you can change the battery, and why it costs 80$ is because you fry more than just the battery when you put a battery in upside down, and from my understanding , the 25$ service service diagnostics applies to your repair. the smaller VS has a fixed 1200 may battery. which you can not change out. they will replace it for 30$ I think. so right now I need a charger port replaced, and a new battery installed,...since it is already there and open, might as well get it done. the big deal is this...

do NOT let any juice or liquid or rain get in that charger hole. if it does. make sure you wait plenty of time before you attach it to more power. I am not sure if you got the big one or the small one Choochy. the hana is the same way. you fry the capacitor and maybe the board if you put the battery in upside down. it should not be that hard to put some reverse battery protection in those things. or even in the board itself. should be a stock deal for Evolv, but hey, every one needs to make service money. it keeps the money rolling

Thank you, Hempy. :) No liquid in the charge port. Got the rDNA. Maybe the because the screen is on the botton and the buttons are low on the side is reason for the positive battery placement? Didn't think to ask that either. Dumb! Anyway, looks like they may be putting out a new one in Dec. that fixes the polarity thing and may even have a temperature indicator!

Well. As many new box mods and mini box mods that are surfacing. They really need to step their game up to stay one step ahead. Hcigar even has a quality clone coming out soon. And at that price point. I expect certain things. Quality customer service being one of them. But reverse battery protection isin there to this is not a mech. So expect for certain things to insure the safety of the 65$chip.

My wife got this box mod today

This guy was at the show. He is an aerospace engineer. And beta tester for evolv and you can see how everything is sealed That thing is a bit smaller than my Hana. It has a 3100 lipo battery installed. She Vaped omit all day. And has not dented the charge. For real. Talk about quality. My local shop is setting up future business with this guy. So they will be ascertain able soon. We chose it over the Hana today when checking the new gear from the show. And over a zen dna as well. That thing felt good. But I already have my tube mods. Lol Sounds like it was a blast. I will probably attend the Chattanooga show if they have another one next year. Then we get to compare pics. And I get to show you how to upload pics. The fast way Choochy. Lol

Good morning....Hemp that new mod looks great. I don't mind the internal battery at a lower price point as long as they last awhile, which only time will tell. The MVP for example by the time they die...a person has more than got their money's worth out of it. I would be one to put a battery in backwards and fry a board..so would be leary of that possibility on a mod.

Iowa Gal, Innokin is coming out in Dec. with an MVP 3 with a replaceable battery! :) Hopefully they'll have that protection. Also, the MVP 3 will have an increased wattage limit.

Meanwhile, I just did finish opening up the back to take a green 18650 out. In doing so noticed there is a ribbon to help pull the battery out and it's located at the positive end along with the + sign in the housing. The battery also has a big black wide strip at the positive end. So, maybe I won't be in such a hurry that I'll remember black ribbon to black strip. :p

The number 95 of 1000 Sir Lancelot came in finally today! This thing has the smoothest switch ever for a mechanical. :)
