*prepares to bake for girl's night in*

for your delectation, and distraction...

Hot scones, fresh from the oven, with delicate side cups of hand beaten heavy cream and honey

A pyramid of Death By Chocolate brownies, with caramel drizzled over them

Hot cocoa, mexican style, with cinnamon and dark chocolate. Whipped cream topped with dark chocolate dipped mini marshmallows.

And, while you ladies are sucked into the powerful flavor vortex, I shall slink past you to the keyboard in my ninjafootedjammies...

Good morning Mountaineers.

KS I want to say we had like a Week or so notice. I think they have been working on tips for about 5-7 days now, secretly. the ten pack that was sold so quickly was just a test run. so maybe the night after halloween or somewhere close to that maybe, who knows I dunno. I do remember 3o or so amazing tip on man cave opening night. it was awesome.

Whew! Morning, gals and guys! :) Darksparkle, you are correct-a-mundo. :thumb: The yummy scones and chocolate provided by our resident equestrian should be eaten after the raid cause we got to be lithe and light...............Okay, let's go for hungry and quick. :D But, everyone should work on their flexible, flying fingers........flying flexible fingers.........finger flexes! :D Bottom flapped footy pjs are optional, but be sure your bottoms are flappable!......

You all are to much, funny that is. Reminds me of when I was a kid, my Dad worked at a large store called Web's City in St Pete FL. This was long before chinamart and the like, but they had everything you could imagine, food, clothes, barber shop, arcade, ice cream shop, pharmacy, and more. Dad was a pharmacist, but saw things that would make you think about the sanity of some people. They would literally fight over frozen dead chickens and clothes when they were put on sale. The place was like a zoo I tell ya, but we got a free ice cream after getting a haircut. In the arcade they had a live chicken dance on an electrified wire grid for food, after you deposited a nickle.

Hi all! Okay... I'll give. Wouldn't want Merryh's goodies to go stale waiting for the Girl's Night. Yes! We are planning one. :D We're hoping we'll have a good stock for it by Oct. 24th. (Not this Friday, but the next.) I hope that suits everyone's schedules! I'm pondering 6:30 or 7:00pm Mountain Time. That would let west coasters get home from work and not toooo late for east coasters? Does that sound about right?

If we don't feel we have enough beauties, we might delay it another week. We want there to be something for everyone that would like one.. or two... or 10. We know they're hard to get at this point (gosh we appreciate that!!!) so we're hoping that doing this will make it a little easier for everyone. Unless everyone ends up wanting the exact same tip.

Which brings me to the shopping cart issue. Doug will stay in on Girls Night so he can help me keep track of any that have double sales and he'll email you as fast as he can to let you know you didn't actually get it and send a refund of course. Hopefully that will give you time to race back and grab another you wanted. If it was me, I'd put the ones I really wanted, in my cart before checking out (not checking out with one at a time.) I figure that way I'd have the best shot at getting at least one of my top picks. (Hope that makes sense. ;) ) Hopefully this won't even be an issue! And everyone will get just what they want!
:banana::banana::banana:

Can't tell you how hard it is not showing you the tips that are starting to come in from the shop. :hubba:

I will have a few tips to show you later today. This week we're trying to do a bit of both... just holding some back for Girls Night. Next week's work might all be going for Friday night. :D

Got the calendar marked already! But, Kayte, I thought even if you did have a tip in your cart it could be bought right out of your cart before you paid for it.......Wait.......Okay, I think I see.

Keepsmiling, yep, different era entirely. No seat belts, no biking helmets, about 50% of adult pop. smoked. Didn't go to the doc. unless you absolutely had to and everyone sat down to dinner between 5-6 p.m. Black and white TV and 3 channels. Everyone read the newspapers and the princess phone was still on the horizon. Skirts were below the knee and you had to wear a garter belt to keep your seamed stockings up. My pierced ears were still a novelity. And, you always addressed elders with a Sir or Maam......Course I was a service brat so that came naturally. Yes sirree bob, things were a lot different then! :p

Ouhhhhhhh two weeks to practice speedy finger tapping, typing. Kinda like black Friday in October. Hope any of us guys careless enough accidently stumbling in can get out of the way, wouldn't want to get elbowed or kneed in the frenzy. Lol. Have fun getting ready ladies. Can't wait to see and hear from the lucky winners!!!!

Howdy all! I grew up in alot of that era myself. Also grew up with critters and was taught to be kind and respectful of them.

Things were simple, we played outside when not in school or doing chores. and my parents were strict! Did not hesitate to whoop our behinds. LOL

Can't wait for ladies night out! Best get my creaky ol joints all loosened up and clean my firearm ;)
