Hello, Mommabird, Tearose. Hope your days has been good so far. Been off slogging thru the "brainy" section to catch up on vaping news, legislation, media, etc. Once again, left coughing in their dust. Some really smart people over there......All I do is say "okay" knowing full well someone will come along and present a perfectly good agrrument in the opposite direction. I then sit back resignly and say, "I've got two minds about this; and since hubby has trouble with me having just one, he's gonna get totally confused." Then I come over here where it's a happier place. :p

I'm planning to list the tips at 6:30pm Mountain Standard Time this Friday... the 24th.

But since most of the country is currently in DST (not, standard time), does that mean the tips are going up at 6:30pm Mountain Daylight Time, or 6:30pm Mountain Standard Time (which would really be 5:30PM)???????

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Hiya stew. :) I'm pretty sure Kayte meant DST. She knows we are easily konfused. I'm don't think she'd try to make that any more so for us.

Howdy chooch :) I probably need to visit the brainy section more myself ;) LOL My day off got real busy! Started out with myself and Gracie going to the nursing home for a pet therapy visit with our friends there, which we love doing;) Then ran errands, visited our elderly neighbor while Gracie was in therapy dog mode, built some coils and have now gotten tied up with alot of rescue stuff! I am our state coordinator manager since we are a national rescue and there is always something! LOL After a couple of more phone calls, I will try to catch up around these parts. Getting excited about friday! hope I am able to snag a tip or two ;)

Well, uh, is it okay to just google "Albuquerque, New Mexico time", and, uh, it gives me Kayte's time.

Aikanae, I think to introduce your friend it would be wise to take her to several of your favorite local B & M's. Would be quieter and she'd get more individual attention. Also, she would know where to go if you were not available to go with her next time. A convention can be crowded, chaotic and shorta confusing with so much available. We did have around 75 vendors and only a few national. Most came from surrounding areas or states. But it did give me a chance to try out some juice I only heard about and not seen locally. After two days, I think I visited only half of what was there, but then I'm slow and "visit" a lot. :p It was free entry to the convention, and just tell your friend that a typical juice is made with more PG than VG and that you prefer more VG. She can figure out her preferred ratio the more she gets into it; and, once more, she's got a "buddy" to help her out! :D

That's the direction I'm leaning in. I don't live there, so once I'm gone it'd be good to have her grounded with at least one local shop since she's probably not going to be ordering online. That way I can give a thumbs up or down on the store since I don't know them either. I was suprised at the entrance fee for what it appears to be.

BTW Thx on the time zone help. That seems kinda silly but it does mess things up.

Aik, I would lover to live in Az just because of the daylight savings thingy...I understand where is was great for people back in the day where they farmed and did everything themselves, but now a days why not just keep the as,e time all year round?
Ps have a wicked awesome time... Wonder when there will ever be a vape convention in Kansas city?

And on a side note go royals!

Bless you and your work with rescue. I work some with our National breed rescue (Brussels Griffon), and used to work with a local shelter to move all the toy breeds. We've fostered more than I can count and all three BG's that live here are rescues. Unfortunately, as we got older, we just can't do as much and juggle a FT+ job any more. Being a state coordinator can be a job on its own! Rescue is not for the faint at heart!

Awesome to see other rescuers here. I work with a local group here in AZ, Pet Allies. Our director started out with a spay neuter program where we worked with the local vets to provide low cost spay/neuter. Now we have our own low cost clinic and have taken over running the local animal control. We've made it no kill for 2 years now. Saved over 1,000 pets that first year.

Its alot of work, but its a labor of love.

TY Mscruzer and you are right, rescue is not for everyone. The ones that we can save is what keeps you going;) The rescue that I am with is national and has a fairly large volunteer base so there is always plenty going on. It can be tough to juggle but I enjoy being able to help :)

Bless you and glad you were able to do some rescue yourself. BGs are cool little dogs.:)

I'm pretty sure I'll miss the "Girls Night Out" sale :(

Hopefully somebody will leave something for me!

Nope. I can't "Like" that.

OT: It's kind of amazing how many are in animal rescue here. A friend of mine is with M.A.I.N. (medical animals in need) they pull animals off the "E" list with slight medical problems. Their first year they saved 170 dogs. He's a realator and has a gift with photography/video. He follows many of them on a You Tube channel. Some very heart warming stories if anyones interested.

I liked Dale's second "funny" statement, Aikanae. She do know our buying habits!

Now, Dale, something of great importance must be happening that you're gonna wind up missing Fri. night. Don't know to be happy about that or not........Think I'll be optimistic and wish you a grand time! :D BTW, really like your new avatar. How'd you carve that in the punkin? :p
