Thanks Stormy! I could collect a lot more grandchildren, but both of my kids say their families are complete now. Darn.

Doug did mostly special orders today. He did just bring me this one though (and he has a new potpourri on the lathe. ;) I don't know if it will be done tonight or tomorrow.) tlmoody - if there's something in particular you'd like to see, let me know! :)

SOLD Bronze Metallic - Acrylic

Okay... tracked it down. I'll see what we can do! Nice wrap. I like that they have 'awareness' wraps. We're waiting to have one of my grandsons tested for autism. (We know he's SPD - sensory perception disorder - but seems to have some markers for autism as well.)

Occupational therapy helped my son a lot with the sensory issues.

Thank you! I got my tips and they are awesome. I'll post pics when I get my tanks. Can't wait to get some more.
Yay! So glad you're happy with them. :)
Very cool! I'd love to pick up a nice wood driptip from you!
Hi bapeman! If there's a particular wood you're interested in, let me know. My husband has around 600 species in his shop, so chances are good he can do it. :D The wood tips go pretty fast, so if you'd like to just make a special order, that will assure that you get one.
Special orders: We don't accept pre-payment. All special orders are taken on a 'no obligation to buy' basis. If you change your mind for any reason, that's fine. :)

That's great! Two of my grandsons are in occupational therapy - both spd (only one has markers for autism.) I can't even imagine how hard it must be for them to live with each other. One is a sensory seeker, the other a sensory avoider. It makes my daughters days... interesting. ;)
The last few months, my little sensory avoider has been giving me full hugs (instead of just leaning against me.) I'm the only person he'll wrap his arms around and really hug. Makes me cry... sad tears that he has such a hard time with touch and happy tears that therapy is helping him with it. (I'm pre-menopausal - I cry at everything.)

The wrap I found was mostly yellow, but then I read that they also have one that is light blue. Which is yours?

I haven't bought the wrap yet but was planning to get the blue S63

Has the OT suggested anything like a weighted blanket, brushing technique, pressure vest? Depending on the issues these may help. My son is extremely noise sensitive. We got earplugs made from the audiologist that are molded for his ear, natural color, and the filter can be changed to filter out different levels of decibels.

Glad I asked since I was looking at the yellow! :)

Yes... he has a weighted blanket and they do the brushing. They haven't been able to get a pressure vest at this point. The earplugs sound great! I'll tell my daughter about that. They got head phones that filter out noises and they also can play music which helps. They work great, but unfortunately are pretty big and clunky and it embarrasses him to wear them. But, he's able to go to a few favorite restaurants now and not end up under the table rocking with his hands over his ears. With them, he can actually sit and join in conversation and enjoy it. The earplugs sound like a much better way to go, so thanks for sharing that!
You should see their bedroom... it's an occupational therapy room! Most any boys dream room. :)

Oh I remember those hiding under the table days. The sensory processing will eventually get easier for them as they progress in treatment. My son is now 16 so we've been through this for many years. Feel free to pm me any time.
