Great! It is so hard to be without power for so long! Glad their lives will be getting back to normal! And besides, I'm waiting on a tip she was going to make for me to match my new pv

Well, I was waiting for 2, but Doug got the first one done for me before the power went out!
Guess what!!!! I got my new pc, so.....as soon as my next check gets here....no more sitting on my hands !!!!! Can't wait to see new drip tips.....soooooo glad that the power is back up

The outage was 49 hours. HOURS!
It only took them 1/2 an hour to fix it once they got over here. 
But, ours just picked a really dumb time to go out. A major storm (they're calling it the 'storm of the century') hit Albuquerque Friday night. Apparently it was like a hurricane... in the desert. Tons of trees and power lines down, SUV's flipped over all over the city. Wow! My son lives there and said it was 'insane'. He'd never experienced a storm like that. They reported around 8,000 people without power from it.
Ours had nothing to do with that, but there was no one available to come fix ours. E-cigs are not terribly convenient when there's no electricity!
(We did fine. Just had to keep a power bar with chargers at my daughters house and do a lot of running back and forth. lol)Very glad to be back. Missed you all!

And I'm so thankful! After the crazy weekend, we had some crazy catching up to do today. Doug just got to the shop to finish one he had on the lathe Friday night. Hopefully he'll get the whole day to turn tomorrow. Well... except for the family dinner birthday party we're having here tomorrow evening for two of our grandsons. Poor Doug.

I have more pretty storm pictures from one of our news stations websites.
These storms have just been amazing! Beautiful parks with tons of huge old cottonwood trees and half of them are down. So sad! They clocked some wind gusts at 92. Guess there were some funnels spotted as well. I like a good storm, but this sounded nothing like a 'good' storm. 
Here's the storm front just before it hit an outdoor concert. Yikes! Run for cover! You know when a storm system looks like that it's gonna chew you up and spit you out!

it took me a whole night to get this new pc figured out....win 8 was like landing in a foreign country where you don't know the language....finally found my way and.....ALL GONE !!!!
