I feel a balloon-inspired tip coming on from Kayte...
We've thought about it! Doug has made 'balloon inspired' wooden pots in the past. Who knows what he might come up with. ;)

Albuquerque, eh?

I've been to that Balloon fest (but long ago)
Yep! I grew up in Albuquerque. We live on the other side of the mountain now, but it's still 'my neighborhood'. Well... when they have things like the balloon fiesta. Otherwise I don't have much use for it. The city has gotten too big for my liking. :sneaky:

Hello Kayte

I am sure that Doug will work wonders with these petals : Wub: , but it is necessary when even let him sleep a little : Rire:
Doug wishes he didn't have to sleep. He always has too much to do! I don't know how he does as much as he does. Just watching him makes me need a nap.

I've been playing again. A new glitter tip. :D:wub:

Pipevine Swallowtail Glitter Tip - Acrylic

Had to show you a close up since the photo doesn't show how sparkly it is. :D

Kayte, I think this would be perfect on my sisters purple provari. Is that teal?? Because she also uses a tank with teal caps. Anybody here seen the purple provari?? What do you think? The purple color here looks good...yes?

It is a teal blue. :) I haven't seen the purple provari in person, but I know someone that has one! I'll ask her to take a look and see what she thinks!

Hey CatCat! I have a purple one & I do think it would be stunning!! It has just enough purple & the shimmer  it's beautiful!!! Grab it before I do! Just joking...I'd never do that to you.

No problem! That tip really is beautiful!
:wub you too!!
Still trying to figure out what I want you to do for my next tip. I love my purple flower one. I'm thinking red for the next one.
Thanks! I really like that one, too!

I just poured a 'wild rose potpourri'. Lots of red rose petals in it. :D

I also snag petals off of my daughters red geranium every time we go over there. One of these days I'll have enough to pour one of those. If she can keep it alive through the winter. :sneaky:

We could always do a red glitter tip, too. Or red lava. Or or or! Choices choices! So many choices!

Ooooh! Those are gorgeous too!
I know...so many options! It just makes it harder to decide & of course my eyes are bigger than my wallet:lol: I know I want something similar to my purple one. It's so beautiful & different! I wouldn't have ever thought that you could use flowers to make such beautiful drip tips! And now I've got a glitter one on my list too!

Ooooo Kayte!!!!
What's that green one?

I'll have to come back by tmr to see if you answered:)
The green one is green and purple glitter. It looks like it should be nice. We'll see once it's cut and turned.

I didn't know you could use petals either. It was one of those crazy experiments that worked out! I love it when a plan comes together!
You just let me know whenever you're ready for one and we'll do our best to make it special. :)

This is what's going on in my neck of the woods this week. Love this photo taken by Bryan Lopez!! Enjoy!

That's the one thing I liked about Albuquerque the 2 1/2 years we were there. I remember taking the kids to school late on the days they started! We'd stop on a hill and watch them all take off. One Saturday we all piled in the car and chased them across the city to the finish line.

Thanks for the pic :)

Well thank goodness for crazy experiments! That really was a brilliant idea!
Fingers crossed that your daughters flower makes it through winter. I don't have a green thumb at all. That's my mothers gift.
Thanks sweetie! I sure will!
My green thumb only works outside. It's certain death for any plant that enters my house.
I meant the green Tip on that silver pv ... looks almost Jade:wub: ... I love it & want one like that!!!
Oooh! That might well be my favorite tip out of the ones I have (which isn't nearly enough!) It is beautiful! It is a gorgeous shade of green with loofah in it!
Here's a close up pic of it:

Checking in!!
Hi windy! Sorry for the wait on your Star tip. We're working as fast as we can go to get caught up with special requests. Yours IS making it's way up the list! Shouldn't be too long now. :)

I agree... the balloons are pretty much the best thing about Albuquerque. lol I know a lot of people love it, but I only go there now if I HAVE to. I'm a mountain girl... not a city girl. ;) I had fun chasing the balloons with my kids, too. Our best catch was the Mickey Mouse balloon. I think it was one of the first 'special shape' balloons.
What school did your kids go to? My daughter was at Collet Park Elementary before we moved out of the city.

I've written you all down for a Pine Cone in Snow. Just so you know and don't face price tag shock later, that one has to go for $32.00. No problem, as usual, if anyone changes their mind. :)
It'll be about a week before Doug can start on them. We'll also have a few in blue. Can't wait to see that one, too!
Thanks!

Hellooooooo MM drip tippers!

I originally planned to hide my excitement, but fuggedaboudid! Ms. Pine Cone is soon to be my SECOND MM drip tip!!! Yes, I know, most of you have so many pretties already, but I've been too slow or not around when quite a number of others went up for sale. But now it's MY turn to say....

Mine, Mine, All MINE!! :D

Can you find the spiders? the birds? the squid/octopus? the dolphins? the cake icing dripping down a warm cake?

.... Can you say oooooooooooooooooo la la!

Thank you K + D!
