YAY for you!!! Is the ZMax huge? I haven't heard of the KTS. The Chi-you is beautiful and I've thought I should look into getting one. :mod envy:

Doug asked me yesterday if I would have any interest in a ProVari. I wish I knew!!!

I want Ikarius' purple wood box mod. That's what I want! It's soooo beautiful!
No Katie, I don't think it's huge :) And you how I am about my "tiny" prettie's ;) I got my smok Zmax mini from Madvapes and it's 2 1/2 inches around, 3 1/2 inches tall, cutest little bugger you ever saw. I have a Mint green and a Bronze-y Red one :) They had 5 or 6 different colors.
The KTS is a mechanical, you probably wouldn't want to mess with that :) I love the look of the Chi-you but I don't particularly care for the bottom button on it.

Hi catcat!!! Good to see you! The tinsel is sooo pretty! Perfect for the holidays!

    Ooooh! Fun fun vapemail!!!

No local hardware stores where you are? That's where I've gotten them. But, good news, you can also use elastic hair bands/rubber bands (lots of fun colors) and I would think you can find them locally. You can also make your own, using elastic bracelet cord, cover it with seed beads and hang your charm on that.

Does the 'no taller than one inch' include the insert?
I've got it on the list and I'll have photos to show you this week. :)

    :laugh::laugh::laugh:

 I'm so glad it's not our fault!

I've always thought that's how it should be done! lol

We occasionally post new tips on Sunday, but it's not the norm. :)

Hi jetcity! Good to see you. :)

Does anyone have an iTaste VV 3.0 or Smok SID? Any preference? (I have an opportunity to get Doug one of those for his birthday, but have no idea which is more preferable! I could also get him an iTaste MPV, but not sure I want another one to just trash when the battery goes. Help?)

No tips today. Poor Doug is having to work on plumbing. I sooo admire him for crawling under the house trying to find the problem. I couldn't do it!

    Late. Skim. Perhaps answered? Dunno.

Kayte, I have a couple of iTaste VV 3.0s. LOVE them. If you want something almost eGo sized but with VV/VW, they are just a bit more expen$ive, but adorable and work very well. I've come to appreciate Innokin's technologies.

Doug asked you if you would have any interest in a ProVari? Did you squeal? Did Arizona hear you screaming YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!?

dale, +1 on NO bottom buttons. They're just a pain in the... little finger.

Late as well... but yes! You want a Provari Mini (more versatile because you can buy extensions to make it take a larger battery), you can't make the full size smaller... make sense?

Rabernet - my hubby says you can find o-rings at auto parts stores too, or look on amazon... check out this kit (I have one), but obviously some of them are huge so my hubby can use them for other stuff.

The answer is yes - you would have an interest in a ProVari! LOL I don't have one, but want to get a mini.

The SID is supposed to be the ZMax body with Evic technology - so I imagine the ZMax is the same in size as the SID.
    Thanks!

I'm so sad about the Chi-you. They are pretty, but yeah... bottom button never appealed to me. Mechanicals are a pain? I thought they were as easy as it gets... pop in a battery and go. No? Or are you saying that they don't work as well and kind of a waste of money?

Bronzy red?! I want one! So glad you're having fun with your obsession! You get to go first and tell me yea or nay. ;)

Thanks Kat. I think I would enjoy the iTaste... chameleon. We've matched tips for it and I love the photos I've seen of them put together. I don't know how Doug would feel about a sparkly batt and tip. Guess I'd have to just get him the boring silver one. Except, I think now he's leaning toward an actual mod (replaceable batteries.)

Thanks for the 2nd on NO bottom buttons. I appreciate the input!

The reason I'm hesitant about a provari is because of how big around they are. That's an awful lot of money to get something and then find that I'm not comfortable using it.

Sorry about the lack of tips recently. We've been in crunch mode with special requests... which is nice... but means not many tips for the website while we get those done. :) Doug is heading to the shop right now to turn a couple for me to experiment with. (Yeah... I have a new experiment up my sleeve. Sure hope it works! lol)

In the meantime, I'm hungry. What's for dinner tonight? :pop:

Oh they are! Didn't mean to mis-lead you :) I think it's more a matter of battery protection or rather the lack thereof, you can get a disk ... pardon me  thingy  to fix that. I actually love mine, Chimney gave it to me :)
Bronzy red?! I want one! So glad you're having fun with your obsession! You get to go first and tell me yea or nay.
Ooooo! Love love love mine!!! Madvapes Zmax Mini $49.95 ;)Says Red but like I said it's kind of bronze-y like in color :)[/COLOR]

Mechanical mods do worry me. I don't like 'livin' on the edge'... I'm a protection sort of gal these days.

ZMax mini on my wish list. Thanks!!!

You know... I don't think I've ever had a Whopper in my life. Now I wonder what I'm missing. ;)
We had chili and cornbread for dinner tonight! YUM!
    Yum! Love chili and cornbread!
Thanks for the link. I bookmarked it! That's one I've been wanting to try and now I know the 'secret to perfect'! YAY!

We had chili with rice burritos. I'm full now.

You know what sounds really good that I haven't had in ages? A ribeye steak... with mushrooms sauteed in garlic butter. With asparagus and a baked potato oozing with butter. And a salad. With ranch. And croutons. :D

Here's a photo of IowaGal's newest tip! I love it!

This is so perfect and thanks for posting the picture. I've got a sneaky feeling I might need a few more in this size so keep the pattern:) Can't thank you enough for the beautiful tip and outstanding customer service.

Kayte...I pretty much use mechanical mods these days and if you build them correctly they are safe...but my first 'mod' was a Provari Mini and I still use it to this day. It is a little big at first (going from a cig a like or ego type battery) but once you've had it for just a short time you are in love. Mine are black as they didn't have the lovely blue, purple or red to choose from back in the day:laugh: Seriously don't think you could go wrong with a Provari Mini...just my :2c:

I have a full sized Provari with the extension and I love it. I carry it everywhere. It's the perfect mod for tanks.

I have to disagree about bottom buttons. Some can be a pain but the Kamry K100 or K101 is awesome! It is super easy to push and really comfortable to hold. I use the middle knuckle of my ring finger to press the button. I have trouble with arthritis in my fingers but the button is so smooth it never bothers me. I love it so much I have it in 18 different colors! Just got fire engine red, the perfect purple, and a gorgeous green. It's just an awesome mechanical mod.

Kayte, The Provari is actually a little smaller than a z-max mini. Go for the Provari. I love mine. The quality is fantastic. They will replace internals and up-grade for $20. It's a workhorse.
I really really don't think you would ever regret it.

I was surprised at how small they are. Pics make them look bigger.

That new tip is soooo cute. Love it!

    Good luck!

18 colors!!!! Wow! I have the green one, but I haven't found a comfortable way to hold and fire mine. I think my hands are too small. I've tried the way you describe, but it's awkward for me.

What do you use on yours? Just rebuildables, or also some tanks or carto's?

I use carto tanks on all of them. I hold it with my thumb and index finger around the top of the colored tube. You push down with your thumb while pushing up on the button. I only use 18350 batteries so they are small. I do have kicks in a few though and it works great. If I hold it with my left hand I use my pinkie knuckle to press the button. I think it did take me a bit to get used to at first but as you can tell it quickly became a favorite of mine.

I just oust got an MVP 2 and I find the button on it awkward! My thumb starts hurting if I use it for too long.

I'm going to have to get me a kick - I saw yesterday that Evolv is having a sale on them right now if anyone is interested. Evolv LLC - Home for $19.99 and $1.00 shipping.

I got my MVP 2 this past weekend - I'm not feeling the love for it, and am going to sell it to a co-worker of mine. I don't care for the looks when you put any topper on it, I don't care for how it performs (for ME it performs weakly compared to my other mods - and of course, since I have a REO, it's difficult not to make the comparison, and the REO clearly wins every time).
