Kayte...I pretty much use mechanical mods these days and if you build them correctly they are safe...but my first 'mod' was a Provari Mini and I still use it to this day. It is a little big at first (going from a cig a like or ego type battery) but once you've had it for just a short time you are in love. Mine are black as they didn't have the lovely blue, purple or red to choose from back in the day:laugh: Seriously don't think you could go wrong with a Provari Mini...just my :2c:
Thanks IowaGal. I appreciate your :2c:. :)
I admit, mechanical mods to scare me a bit. I know nothing about batteries and all the safety issues, what you should and shouldn't do. When I first started vaping I read a long dissertation on mechanical mods and they strongly discouraged getting one until you were well studies on battery safety. So far, I haven't been inclined to learn.
I have a full sized Provari with the extension and I love it. I carry it everywhere. It's the perfect mod for tanks.

I have to disagree about bottom buttons. Some can be a pain but the Kamry K100 or K101 is awesome! It is super easy to push and really comfortable to hold. I use the middle knuckle of my ring finger to press the button. I have trouble with arthritis in my fingers but the button is so smooth it never bothers me. I love it so much I have it in 18 different colors! Just got fire engine red, the perfect purple, and a gorgeous green. It's just an awesome mechanical mod.
Thanks Bukket! I know so many people have provaris and speak very highly of them.
Kayte, The Provari is actually a little smaller than a z-max mini. Go for the Provari. I love mine. The quality is fantastic. They will replace internals and up-grade for $20. It's a workhorse.
I really really don't think you would ever regret it.

I was surprised at how small they are. Pics make them look bigger.

That new tip is soooo cute. Love it!

Good luck!

The photos helped so much! It's not quite as big around as I thought. Thank you!
Evening tip friends!!:)
Kayte, honestly you would love a provari. It is my go to all the time. I take it everywhere with me. I used to have 2 of them, but was careless and one got snatched. It really is a work horse.
Thanks catcat. A work horse does sound good. I think I would need a provari AND a wrap. And a new tip of course.
I'm going to have to get me a kick - I saw yesterday that Evolv is having a sale on them right now if anyone is interested. Evolv LLC - Home for $19.99 and $1.00 shipping.

I got my MVP 2 this past weekend - I'm not feeling the love for it, and am going to sell it to a co-worker of mine. I don't care for the looks when you put any topper on it, I don't care for how it performs (for ME it performs weakly compared to my other mods - and of course, since I have a REO, it's difficult not to make the comparison, and the REO clearly wins every time).
I would love to get Doug a REO woodville. (I think that's the right term. Too lazy to go look it up and make sure. lol)

I do have an SID on the way for his birthday, so I'm excited about that! I'm also working on a deal for an iTaste VRT. Not sure which of us will end up with it. I imagine it will depend on how hormonal I am when it gets here.

Yes please!
By the way, I received my tips yesterday and I love them! They don't exactly match what I have which means I need to order more custom tips and more mods! What's a girl to do? :)

Oh good and oh no! (I feel so conflicted!) Maybe you should send me a pic of what you're trying to match. It's so difficult using photos online where everyone's screens are calibrated differently, etc. But sometimes that works!

I'll try to take some pictures later - but I do actually have ONE match - the Rainforest tip I went ahead and got - matches my green K101!

DH and I both like the Sunrise one best of all ... soooo beautiful!

Sunrise - Acrylic

I love the pearly colors in that one!
Kayte got my tip today and it's even more beautiful in person..again Thank You so much. Hopefully I'll get my Spheroid tomorrow (since Monday is a holiday). I'll get a picture up sometime next week. Have a Great Weekend everyone.
Oh good! Hope you enjoy it for a long time to come. Can't wait to see the picture!

Two new tips up now. :D

SOLD Australian Banksia Pod with Acrylic - Banksia pods are sort of like pine cones. They have natural 'holes' where the seeds were. Those holes have been filled with acrylic. Soooo neat!
Here's a photo of a Banksia Pod:

And here the tip:

Granite - Acrylic (Love this one! It's a beautiful gray that goes beautifully with silver, among other colors.)

Wow Katie! This is gorgeous! :)
Did you fill the holes? Just really beautiful work!
No... this isn't one I made. ;) I'll be making some in the spring though... with brighter colors. :D I've loved banksia pods for years. Doug used to make gorgeous vases with them. The holes are amazing! They're lined with what looks and feels like red velvet. They'd be useless for vaping with all the holes though, so the holes have to be filled. lol

Mine! Kayte knows me well, but to everyone else, I've been lurking and snatching up a few of these nice tips! One by one, the cheap plastic tips I've been using for a long time are being replaced with unique pieces of art. I also have one of the Pine Cones in Snow, which has to be the most unique idea I've seen yet. I also got the "Deck the Halls" tip, which I'll use the entire month of December. Humm... After I get the next order, I might have to post a photo of my Molehill Mountain Art tips collection (9 so far I think - I have a lot of tanks).

I was first introduced to Australian Banksia at Vegas Vapefest 2013, where one of the vendors had e-pipes made from it. I'm not into pipes, but they looked so cool! They had a series of pods in various forms of finish, demonstrating the process from bare pod to finished e-pipe. I bet you could produce a line of tips for that vendor Kayte.

Better make more of these - this likely won't be my last Australian Banksia tip! I love the blue acrylic - it would have been my first choice of color, but the "more colorful" ones you tease us with in the spring might activate my trigger finger too.

On second thought, please stop making tips.

Sincerely,
John's wallet ;)

Welcome John! I take it you're the one who got that gorgeous tip? Congrats!!
