Katdarling, I'm just loving my very first avatar! That's me alright.....just chugging and vaping away.Never thought I would have one. Thank you so much for your generosity and instructions. Now when hubby wants my attention, he opens the door and "Toot! Toot!" 's at me.....Ha! Do you think I ought to let him get away with it? Or, should we have a train wreak?

Uh, Daleron, I didn't know about "Friend Requests". Just found and went to Notifications and saw two there and checked their boxes. Is that right?
Just talked to youngest dau. about Christmas get together, and told her about new avatar and how excited I was about it, and she said, "Oh yeah, there's and ap for it on my Iphone, and ECF sounds like it works like Facebook, and.." "Wait! I've never been on Facebook! Your mother has been on a deserted island for 15 years and doesn't know this stuff." ......Mothers just KNOW when their children make faces.....
So that's where I am. Should I check in on Notifications every day? And, check the box of those who request to be friends? Is that right?

You do go to your notifications and have to check the right box, I will have to check in the morning on what else needs doing okay? LOL, it takes me forever to type on the kindle! We will be friend's!

Choochoo-these people will teach you so much and Katdarling has saved me so many times. You remind me of myself when I first started. Keep asking questions. They are all valid when it comes to learning your way around. I think the friend request is on your profile tab?? It's been awhile since I got a friend request and come to think of it, I'm not sure if I have ever requested someone to be my friend, but I have had alot of friend requests and yes, I clicked the little box and then clicked save and all I know is they are now my friend! I still to this day forget about the profile tab. There is a "friends" tab there and you can click it and find out for sure if the friend request was saved. also, there is a tab for visitor messages inside your profile tab. I always forget about it and then am pleasantly surprised when I see a message from a visitor.

I'm not too good at teaching this computer stuff since I'm fairly computer stupid myself
But I have learned a lot from the wonderful people here on ECF If you can't get it then go to my Profile (click on my name and click "View Profile") then you can go to my profile and send me a friend request and I'll acccept you

Yep, Catcat, I searched all the places you suggested, thank you. "Yoohoo! Yoohoo! Daleron where are you?" I got lost somewhere in the weeds and finally made my way back without finding Daleron.......Do you suppose I somehow zapped her request? I usually leave stuff alone if I don't know what to do with it or how, especially on a computer.

Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a good day! I'm having a sparkly pink kind of day. I've managed to get myself pretty well covered in pink glitter. Isn't that special. 
I'm excited! UPS just dropped off a blu-ray disc of Scrooge! I love this movie and haven't been able to watch it for a few years. It's the version with Albert Finney. Have you all seen it?
Tomorrow night (date night) will be Chinese carryout and Scrooge. Yes!

No.. this isn't the original. This one is a musical made in 1970. It's so good even Doug likes it.
