Well today was like christmas! My boss gave me a bunch of samples of laundry detergent, my new SID arrived, and my pine cone tip is back home and perched upon it :rickroll::banana: Squeel, I'm so excited and thrilled at the work that Doug did on my baby, I can't wait to show Robin tomorrow!

Kayte and Doug thank you so much for all that you do for this community, I for one, will be a loyal forever customer.

You got a SID? Congratulations!!!! Can't wait to see you this afternoon!

You all are the best! Thank you soooo much!
Doug and I just got done doing the run to the store for daughter and I got them some lunch made. It's awful to not be able to go in and snuggle with them, rub their stinky little feet and play with their hair. We have to stay far far away. Doug had a horrible case of pneumonia that landed him in the hospital for 4 days, with the doctors telling me he may not make it. When he recovered, they told us that he would be susceptible to it, soooo... we're doing what we can while keeping our distance. If they decide they need me, I'll just move in with them for the duration so I don't carry anything back to Doug. Although neither of us would survive being apart that long.:laugh:

Update on the kids: Jaden is at the docs now for checkup. He sat up and played legos for a 1/2 hour yesterday... and it wiped him out. But, his o2 is staying up since last night, so YAY!
Caleb and Taye both have pneumonia now. Caleb feels pretty awful. Taye is doing pretty darn good for a guy with pneumonia.
Carter, who is in the highest risk (poor kid!) is doing pretty well! He's feeling crummy, but no pneumonia. Major happy dance about that!
And my girls... they're great. No sign of the flu so far.
All are on antibiotics and now we just wait it out.

Here's a pic of my loves. :D The four bigger boys (2 on either end) are the sick ones. All the little ones in the middle are fine. :)

Again... thank you all sooo much for caring and praying.

Panda e-cigs was having a Martin Luther King sale on there clearance items and silver was the only color available, but, I picked up 2 of them for 52 dollars shipped so it was a really great score!
I made a little tank necklace that has a sterling silver pine cone on the end. I've had the pine cone charm for 37 years and finally have a good use for it!

Kayte,

That's a wonderful pic of the kids.
I'm so glad they are feeling better and will also add them to my prayers.

Have you ever heard of liquid silver? When Hubby was recovering (open wounds for over a year from a staff infection) we had a wonderful home health care nurse who introduced us to it. They have a liquid and a gel and you can get it at the health food store. NOTHING will grow in liquid silver.....germs...bacteria. It's great. We used it on his wounds but she used the gel on her hands before and after every visit and keeps the liquid in a squirt bottle and spritzes her face too. She was NEVER sick, even while dealing with really sick people and bad .... germs every day.

We keep both at all times and make sure the kids have it on hand at their homes too. The grand kids love to get spritzed and often ask, "Will you spray me with silver?". You can drink it, use it as a nasal spray, put it on cuts and scrapes, use it in a breathing machine.... almost anything. Check it out, maybe it will help to keep from spreading the "bugs". It really is great stuff.
