Gorgeous in fact! Congratulations, Robin!

Choochoo, I shopped long and hard for Provi beauty rings. I finally found 2 that I adore. However, cost-wise, I don't know that I can recommend them when there are vendors such as Provi and IB who carry decent rings. I got mine from the cute Greek boys at gr-modders. I REALLY like them, just by the way... :D

And g'morning to all! TGIF, eh?

Holy tamollie, Robin! Gorgeousness abounds here!

That wood, Sirius.....OMG, that wood! Are you going to have a mod made of that? Beautiful!

There were lots of Cocobolo mods that Sirius could have purchased last Friday in the REO Woodvil sale! Just saying!!! :)

Beautiful tips....I need to quit looking at the wood mods and tips (I really can't justify another mod no matter how beautiful they are) I just remembered I do have one small wood mod...now to watch the tips:D And I am so excited  tip is here and I just love her... my favorite to date (well I know I say that about all of them) but the size/shape is perfect. Thank You Doug & Kayte

Just put in payment last night for this bad boy...

Very nice!!!

LoriP, what beauty ring are you using atop your two ProVaris? Been trying to decide which ones to get.....
...what they said...
Also, you are spot on about the Art Deco feel. They really do, and I love items from that era. I'd never put two and two together, but you hit the nail on the head.

Choochoo?
Lori is getting ready for work, she got those beauty rings from IBTanked tho' :)
Thank you Dale and Kat for helping her, because I'm only familiar with the ones from IBTanked, to go with their tanks. I'm useless otherwise, these rings are new to me too.

Hi guys - now you can see my segmented wood tip where it belongs!

Finally my babies arrived yesterday. One misses Rob already and needs to head back for a little tweaking. :p
Just beautiful!!!

Yepperdoodle, Katdarling, seen those too AND their extension rings as well. Pretty expensive, but beautiful and I can find only one place state side that carries them, and they're out of stock. Can't use my gift cards for out of country purchases. Of course, I want both sets of stainless and brass! The "bling" factor is bigger than pocketbook.......Hum-m-m-m-......When's Mother's Day coming up? :sneaky: Didn't Kayte say something 'bout using "womanly wiles"? :D......Dang, those wiles are rusty. Got to find some polish......

Shoot, MasterofNone, I should think that Scarlett or Cheri would be "outfitted" quite nicely with that tip. Cheri, being French, likes things understated, chic. On the other hand, Scarlett likes.....curtains!
Scarlett and curtains!!

Kayte, am loving the shape of LoriP's new tips. Does it have a particular name? Looks like the "neck/tip end" would be lengthy enough to suit me. :)
Um... let's officially name this shape 'the Lori'! :D I love it, too. Mine is purple on top, silver on bottom.
Kayte does Doug have any Cocobolo?

Of course he does! Such gorgeous wood. I think every wood shop has at least one piece laying around in it.

My word... I'm sleep deprived today and keep getting sidetracked! I read your post and started giggling as a bottle of wine sprang to mind for 'the polish'. I headed off to find a photo of a bottle and was going to edit it and write 'womanly wiles polish' on it with instructions to give your hubby a 1/4 cup as needed. I would probably spend an hour doing that and never get the tips listed! So... I'm just telling instead.

Be back soon(????) with tips to show you all!

Yeah I'm in :hubba: with Cocobolo wood every since I had some scales made from it for my BK7 knife. It's a lovely wood and I would sure love a tip made from it in the future. I bought a Trident V2 so I will have to curtail my purchases for a bit. Oh and a couple of new mechanicals too..lol

I was actually thinking of that Carol Burnett scene when I wrote that! Isn't it amazing how humorous minds run in.....circles!:D

Sirius, would the future tip be purchased sometime.......next month? :p

Okay... we're opening a whole new can of worms today!:laugh:

We'll now be offering some (NOT all by any stretch) tips with stainless steel inserts. These inserts are short stemmed. They do not come to the top of the tip, which is nice for a number of factors... the most important being that Doug can still make all the beautiful shapes.
We thought this might be something of interest to those among us that are um... accident prone.

The tips with the SS insert will be $4.00 more... soon. (The $4.00 will simply cover the cost of the insert.) Today, they're the same price our tips have always been because, well, that's just how we do things.

    Copper Cream - Acrylic

    Crushed Marbles - Acrylic

Money - Acrylic (Clear Acrylic with real shredded money in it.) I think the colors are really nice! And what a fun reminder of all the great and fun things we can buy now that we aren't spending our money on cigarettes! YAY!

One more tip coming up momentarily! :D
