Thanks Iowa! I hope they catch him too! It's disturbing knowing there's someone that likes to set fires right by your house, running around loose. The mountain is in pretty bad shape (drought and pine beetles) so yes, scary indeed.

Kat... hope it arrives today and you like it!

I had to make another 'musical' tip. We joke around in here about naming some of our tips 'my precious', so....

My Precious - Acrylic  (In real life, the green is nicer... sort of a patina green, not bright green.)

Dale, I MISSED it!!! Was going over the last few pages and finally spotted your hummingbird video. I was so totally blown away!! Had to watch it a couple of times, and when hubbs gets home from shopping will watch it a third. Grin, grin, grin, grin, grin......grin!!! So fun! I wouldn't be able to hold still so long, and so wish my destructive squirrels would go live somewhere else. I rescreened the screened porch last summer (a project that took me 3 times longer than planned), and those pesky critters like traveling around on screening when there's food around. Doesn't matter what it is, they'll try it. So-o-o-o-o, I loved watching your video. Thank you!

Projects.......Oh, that reminds me, Kayte. Have you done your cabinet door knobs yet?

Yay! So neat to see. :) We have to take spring wreath off front door that's a multi-planed door 'cause for two years in a row sparrows would build their nest in that wreath which was fun at first until the chicks got big and would make their "deposits" all over the panes! The door has a lace curtain which made it easy to peek out right into the nest and watch the growing family growing. I was very happy to see them fledge, fly off, and be able to clean and use the front door again. :p So, now no wreath until summer!

Choochoo! I did! I'm not sure they'll stay this way, but I do like them better than when they were just gold. The photo doesn't show very well. I did them pretty much like the hummingbird tips. At different times of the day they look green, then blue and maybe a bit of purple... with bronze here and there.
I don't care much for the style, but cost wise... they're perfect. Free!

Have to show what else I got done. Doug very sweetly built a new 'cabinet' section for me so I no longer have a weird hole that nothing fit in. I kept the trash can there (in front of it) just to hide it. Not anymore! Love my little cubby. It's just right for platters. :D

I really like my corner thingies (can't think of what they're called for the life of me!) Corner brackets? I've felt far too prideful about how great they look. Doug wanted them both on top, not catty corner. I won.
I put them on the other cabinet that I took the door(s) off. It now works perfectly for my dish rack. It's wonderful to have it off the counter!!

One more pic of the other side of the room just because I like the warm light coming in the windows.

Next project is the counter. I'm ready to start chopping out the tile. Doug isn't! :sneaky:

Thanks dale and choochoo! I'll get started on the pastry cookies... you guys bring the tea. (I only have apple/cinnamon or mint.) But I have all kinds of flavors to vape.

Gorgeous room Kayte and a job well done. If those are Girl Scout Thin Mints I could eat a whole box of those in one sitting. Ummmmm!

Nope, Sirius, these cookies she made believe it was around Thanksgiving and looked so delicious and easy to make that even a non baker like me could possibly do it. :p Made with flakey pie crust and jam/jelly; but, Sirius, you can come and watch us eat these non Girl Scout cookies iffen you want to. Do you like tea?
