G'morning Dale hon..Iowa. I'm still trying to decide if I want another nice burl, a cocobolo, or try acrylic. I know Kayte can come up with a nice looking gold,(man tippie) that I will like in acrylic. But I love the wood ones sooooo much.

"My Precious".....Love, page 570, post 5700, came in today and on either the green glassed or gold Davide is such a distinctive tip. 
The green patina and here and there a touch of brown to add to the "aged" look is just right. Am happy to report that hubby says a guy can vape on it too.......While it's not exactly a "he-man" tip, he's the one that took piano lessons for 11 yrs, and quite familiar with sheet music!! WE are enthralled with this new technique of yours, Kayte.
The Earthen, page 571, post 5707, came today as well. Kayte, you must have seen a bronze ProVari 'cause this particular tip's coloring looks as if you matched it on purpose!!!
The teal blue overpainted with the glistening gold and glistening reddish bronze is just gorgeous on the glistening bronze on the ProVari. Of course, this set up looks stunning in the sunlight, and I've got to find a way to talk to people only on a sunny day outdoors!

Thank you, Iowa Gal. Didn't even have that set up in mind, so it amazed me. Don't know whether to call it my "Earthen" or "ProVari" tip. What really made be even happier was "My Precious" also looking so dang good on the bronze as well on top of a light green mini Davide. Looks best that way, but looks pretty good on white or silver mods well 'cause it's got the lighter color in it. Just tickled with them both!

I took piano for 11 years, too. Started when I was 5. I played all the time, until I got married and no longer had much access to a piano. I've continued to play for different things off and on over the years (got a piano some years ago so I could practice) but haven't ever had the time to regain my former abilities. Kind of sad about that, but I'd say having kids was a good trade. I've only seen photo's of the bronze provari. I think I should own one in each color... just so I can match tips to them... don't you think?
