Could be my computer, Katdarling. Are those lavender and blue swirls on purple or black? Lovin' on the shape, and the top pic shows almost a complete circle. Just so.......modern art!

I tried a bazillion ways to get the lighting right.... even tried software adjustments. Sorrowly, I suck! 
The swirls are a minty greenish/bluish/turquoise, believe it or not. The base is a deep rich purple, which lightens INTO the mint swirls. It is GORGEOUS!

Nope, not for me but for hubbs. He really likes the mica in it and his birthday IS this month. 'Sides I got mine today and he wanted something shiney without sparkles! Don't think he'll mind me "borrowing" tho and his tips don't come out of my vape budget.

Kayte, I'd seriously ask your accountant if you could. After all you make custom tips & colars which means you should have a supply of different colored glass tanks, batteries and mods to help you fill your customers' orders.
Think of the furniture stores. You see whole rooms set up with carpet, flowers in vases, bedspreads, walls wallpapered, hung with pictures......Whole rooms decked out. They've got samples of material and upholstry which they have to buy from the manufacturer which then is written off as part of doing business. Anything you use to help you and Doug make your product to the specifications of your customers, to advertize, to send (our manila envelopes, the little boxes, the pipe cleaners and o-rings)...... All should be expensed and/or depreciated for Doug's machinery!
You live out in the country and certain mods are not easily available to you to compare or match colors. you should have "samples" at your premises anyways...... See what your accountant says, Kayte. Heck, the gas Doug uses to to the P.O. every day can be an expense. Wouldn't it be wonderful!
