Glad you had a great visit!

I really wanted to get some work done outside today, but guess I'll have to wait until it cools off some this evening. Then I'll have to brave the gnats and mosquitoes. I really hate those swarming around my face. Probably the only thing I miss about smoking is the bug repellant effect. I could just blow some smoke at them and they'd leave. They seem to like vapor! I've got lots of dirt to move (to start rebuilding the shire) and need to paint some picnic tables.

We're having a huge shindig here in two weeks and there's way to much to get done. I don't know how I'm going to squeeze 100 or so people into my yard. I've done 70ish, but not 100. 8-o:blink: I guess they'll squeeze in... or leave. It should be fun if I survive. :D

I've got big 'to me' news. I'm going to be a grandma again!:banana::banana: This will be a whole new experience! My soon to be newest granddaughter is 11 years old. She's been in the foster care system for two years and well, life has treated her pretty rough. This grandma is going to have her work cut out for her, making a warm, fun, safe place to land for this sweet girl. I know she likes arts and crafts so who knows, maybe we'll be seeing some beautiful custom drip tips coming from her hands as I teach her my secrets. ;) Wouldn't that be fun?! The party in two weeks is an 'adoption shower' (since she's not a baby. lol) She won't be here for it, but will be 'coming home' a week or two after. Then I think it's 4 months for the adoption to be finalized. Needless to say, I can hardly wait to meet her!

Aw Kayte, that's awesome news! I think she's going to be a lucky girl to be coming into a loving, fun family. And how nice for you to have someone you can share your love of crafting beautiful things with! Congratulations to you and your family on the newest addition! :D

Oh Kayte, that's enormous and wonderful news! I can safely say we will all be excited to live this story with you as it unfolds! Marvelous, truly. Congratulations.

No worries on the shire or the festivities. I'll bet you right now it will be fantastic!

Hey, Sirius, I got the twisted but it looks like you used a single wire to make the coil? Or does the twisted look that thin and my glasses not strong enough? However, the tutorial was fast and snappy, and it does look like you made a "beast" of a coil! :D

You're doing good on that video stuff too! It's just all a mystery to me. Kinda magical. So glad that there are people who can do it. ........Missed seeing your dimples tho! :)

Imagine a rubber band Chooch..One piece of wire but looped into a circle. Then that circle is twisted into a rope like strand.
