I feel you mamma bird. No doubt. I installed a lot of wood flooring yesterday. Like 700 ft. Glad to be at home today.

What a precious little one Kayte! Looks like a little princess for sure. I bet she loved the party ya'll had for her!

The party is/was for a different granddaughter... that none of us has met yet. Won't be long now! She finds out that she has a family this week. I can't even begin to imagine what all of this must be like for her.

So the party was supposed to be here this afternoon/evening and wouldn't you know it... about 20 minutes before party time, it starts raining... with lots of lightning hitting really close. We ended up moving the party to my daughters house (her house is bigger than ours, so everyone could be inside and not out standing in the rain, taking their chances with the lightning. ) All that work for nothin'. Nah... not really. Doug and I will enjoy it!
