1977..I was 18, & visiting my then BF in CO. Oh how I wish I had that amplifier! :D

My favorite part about this post is that its literally a 'picture of a picture'. Just goes to show how much has changed, back then that picture sat on a roll of film for who knows how long until it was sent to be developed, whatever creepy photostore employee working that day probably made a couple extra prints for their own personal collection, come back a few days later, wonder why said photostore employee had a big grin when you picked up the pictures, finally take the photos home, then only got to share with your nearest and dearest in person. Even friends and extended family would have to wait until you visit each other to see, or go back to the photostore and deal with creepy mcweirdo to get extra copies made so you can mail them to your friends and wait for days to be delivered to their mailbox.

Today its just aim your camera/phone, click a button to take a shot, click a few buttons to transfer it to the internet, and click a few more buttons to post it somewhere for all to see. Not everything about technology is ruining society, this is one of those advancements that I am so glad we have access to. On the other hand, whoever thought up 'selfies', I would build a time machine to go back to the day they thought of it and locked them in the trunk of my car.

Thanks guys. I use to work up north a lot when I installed CNC Machines and caught a lot of slack for that accent. For some strange reason though, the Canadians really loved it. Canadian women are outta sight nice too! ;)

LOL I get it alot when we travel and working with the public, we get a variety here so some of them get a kick out of it;) And you are right Sirius, the Canadians and Brits really love it. And then there are those who think that if you have a heavy southern accent, it means you are less than smart so I ignore them;) LOL

Missed this. That is so true. I do have a kind of surreal pic from back then of myself. We didn't call them selfies. They would be somewhat blurry, but I called it 'self portrait'

I missed it too GF..Something I wished we had in the 60's would be a video camera. One 8mm film of my dad exists SOMEWHERE? It was shot from a Bell&Howell 8mm movie camera. Idk where that film is but it is from 1968 and the only movie ever taken of him.

LOL! Dale, my old cat use to look at me like that when it was time to eat.....or if I wouldn't let her sit on my lap. When she was really ...... at me, she'd stand in front of me until I paid attention, then turn around and sit back down with her back facing me. THAT told me off alright!

Did she give you the "LOOK" ? :D
