Awfully quiet around here today. ;) Hope you're all have a good one (and hope you're feeling better Merryh! Ick!)

I'm a tad irritated that I had ordered a bunch of plants and discovered that they wouldn't ship a lot of them until mid/end of November. Um.... I don't generally plant things in the snow! :glare: So, had to cancel my order... which is sooo sad because they were going to be beautiful and they were great prices. (You can buy plants much cheaper at the end of summer. ;) ) It's going to take longer to conquer Mordor than I had hoped.

I've got three beauuuutiful tips to show you today and then I'm off to do a bit of work in the yard. At least I can start transplanting some things into the desolation! :D

Morning Glory (The yellow is not quite as intense as the photos show.)

This..It's what I imagine your flower garden to be Kayte.

Copperhead Turquoise

Beautiful. Falling in love with these cracked tips. ;)

Cambodian Rosewood

Oh my! What a wonderful wood tip! :hubba:

Kayte, Morning Glory, looks taller than 1 1/4"? :?:
It does look taller, but it is 1 1/4". Maybe it's the shape?

My garden used to be so beautiful and full of color. Not so much since we've been in drought for 10 years. But, we've actually had a decently wet summer and at least it's green this year! I'm hoping for a good wet winter and again next summer. In other words, I'm hoping the drought is over.

I love the cracked tips too! (That doesn't sound right.)
The Cambodian Rosewood is gorgeous!

Howdy all :) Been laying low today-not feeling well and the RA has really been angry....

But something told me to go to the website on a whim just in time to snag Morning Glory :) I think I got her anyway. She's a beut and I needed to add some more blue to my collection.

Thanks Kayte again for such beautiful tips :)

What exactly is a cracked tip?

Well here's one. Like a crackled glaze on a vase I suppose.

Three lonesome lovelies on the site...were I not trying to save up frantically (even to the point of putting some of my favorite well steeped juices up for cash sale to locals) for a good time at VCCTN, I'd wipe the page clean just to put a bug up Doug's Bum for more =)

If you decide to play requests, Kayte and Doug...we will always buy wood, crackle, sparkle...oh hell, everything you throw at us.

Here's hoping the new lathe is the fantastic lathetastic workroom lover Doug has always needed for tip making, the one that can live up to the Muse that is our beloved Kayte =)

For some reason I always feel sorry for the Irish stars tip. I love it's shape..and I do think it is beautiful. I have almost bought it like a bunch of times..lol.
Gorgeous cracked tips and that wood was stunning. I have to hang around and snag a cracked soon. Trying to be good is no fun at all.
