Just posting this because I think it goes for a good cause.

Also in honor of Smiley's sister.

Can't believe I passed on it. But I know that time will come. That is the one tip I am always gawking at on the home page. That tip has peeked my interest many. Many times. My issue is. I want a specific shape of one when I get it. I am finding that the shape of the tip. Makes the tip And some are for some People. Like taste. It is all subjective to that person's taste

So I took the tip over to my work table, which happens to have a window, with, you know, LIGHT.... and the tip is teal, blue and lavender. No red. Man it looked red in the less than stellar light where I sat to list it. :|
Hope you weren't just loving the red Aikanae!

I saw those purple / pink tones / teal tones and KNEW they would be there. I had faith. One thing I have learned from stalking MHM thread for the past year is the tips are unique and have pretty darn near every color necessery to blend with anything as if they were made to match. I've got both the red (raspberry) and blue istick coming (someday) and lots of purple/pink/teal in my other devices. Can't go wrong!

I am aiming for one of the drop cloth and polka dot tips someday. I almost bought a blue provari to match that up, up and away tip (crewed on hot air balloons for awhile too). How crazy is that? I loved that tip and I think it's because I couldn't figure out how that blank was made. I'm toying with the idea of getting one of those vaccum pressure things and creating some blanks myself. I've got some ideas that might work for tips (not pens).

I'm glad to hear there are others that are biologically unable to function immediatley after waking up. It's not a choice. Early morning people just can't comprehend it until they see it. My rambling for the day.

Thank you all for being here for me. My Reo just got here and I don't even feel the excitement. When I have time I will get pics. I have to go pick up my niece who is flying in to be with her dad here shortly. He is inconsolable and has an arsenal at his home.I am really concerned for him.
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

My heart stopped when I read that. My dad went through something similar after my mom passed. TG he has someone to be with him. I think that's what pulled my dad through it. We never did find everything he had stashed and he refused Hospice grief counseling. He pulled through. My heart goes out to your and your family.

Aw Hemp my friend... unfortunately, that's one of those blanks that is very, very limited in what you can do with it as far as shapes. (That's why the shape is always pretty much the same when Doug makes one of those.)

I'm so glad that you were seeing purple, pink and teal tones! I even edited the photo to match what I was seeing in the dim light. Crazy thing is, I made that tip. I should have known what colors I used. lol Those are the two colors of the istick I'd like to get my hands on. Gorgeous colors and would be fun to dress.

You liked Up Up and Away! I had started wondering what else I could do to it to get it a little love... it sat on the site for so long. Poor thing. That one wasn't a blank. It was a one of a kind. ;) The balloon fiesta starts this weekend in Albuquerque. It's such a huge deal here! I bet you had a great time being on the crews.

It'd be fun to see what you come up with in blanks. I've got to get some made when the weather warms this coming weekend/week. I'm afraid I kept getting sidetracked this summer and didn't get done what I wanted to do. Yet. Hopefully I still have time.

I wish I could wake up and spring into action. :sneaky:

Alrighty, give! Who got the Cholla tip? I LOVE mine...and had to scramble and pull it out and touch it lovingly just to make sure it was real after all. Whoever you are, congratulations, prepare yourself to be blown away when it arrives!!!!

I was very tempted, but have 2 custom tips on the way (and 2 custom kids on the way - literally, so have to watch the budget a bit more closely).

Yea. Agreed with John here. It is October. And the beginning of my work slowing down just a bit.

I might have to not hesitate next time that tip drops Ms Kayte. Or I can just wait. I do have the set up to pull the tip off And looking at the "site tip" in comparison. I always thought it had a flatter bottom. Not sure what I was thinking.

That up up and away tip is cool. My wife got it. And she really likes it. Of course there are always colors you don't see until you get it home and start staring at it
