Merryhellion, gorgeous, peaceful pictures. Thanks for sharing those. :)

Catcat! You're back! :w00t: Did you go on an adventure? Did you have to escape from mean people and dogs? It's okay now. You're here among friends. Look there. Merryhellion even gotcha some catnip! :p

thanks for the warm welcome backs..and the catnip! My brother was here for a week and stays in the room where my computer is...so no access. I'm hoping to get a laptop/tablet for a christmas present to myself this year....then work has been so tough lately it leaves me completely drained when I get home and I just have no desire to go sit at the computer after 9 hours of sitting in front of one at work.

Being in a leadership role can be overwhelming at times....and then again, it also has it's benefits. I was told by management this week they selected me to represent WA State in Milwaukee, WI in May. I was so honored they chose me out of all 22 of us. Wow...just wow! :) Any peeps here from Milwaukee? I'll be there for 4 days. I've never been to WI before.

Hey everyone! Hope your weekends are all off to a great start. Sorry I've been so absent lately. Been watching, just haven't had time to post at work much and so busy at home the last few weeks. So ladies night next friday eh? Gonna need a whole separate tab on the website just for all the purple tips? =)

Those bird videos are awesome, I love the one on the desk with that enormous beak just tasting everything. It seems super chill just hanging out there exploring.

In honor of breast cancer awareness month, and the pending ladies night out event... 1.3ohm coil, ProVari P3 (beta) w/v2.5 end cap @ 14.8W with pink LED set, and of course topped off with a Molehill Mountain drip tip. juice is Suicide Bunny's Mother's Milk (fits the theme). Might be my last bottle of Suicide Bunny until all the diacetyl/AP mess blows over (pun intended).

After multiple tests by multiple people, MM didn't have any concerning levels of diacetyl, but did have concerning levels of AP. Dr. Farsalinos' tests showed 75% of juices have some detectable level of diacetyl and/or AP (which counts as "testing positive"). Those concerned should avoid all custards, milks/creams, coffee's, butters, nuts, and a lot of sweet flavors. It's too bad SB was called out like that, but it's now scary that 75% of the juice tested has either diacetyl or AP. Who's ultimately to blame? The flavor manufacturers making false claims to juice makers. They're used to using ingredients safe for consumption, not safe for breathing.

In Pip's defense, she was testing her juice (for diacetyl, not AP), however the lab's equipment had a MDL of 5ppm, and in order to be detected, they needed to test on equipment with an MDL in the ppb range to get a positive result. All this juice testing leads to the question, how much is considered safe? Levels in cigarettes are WAY higher, and popcorn factory workers diagnosed with "popcorn lung" were exposed to much higher levels, all day, for years. Even a guy who microwaved 3 bags of popcorn every day for 10 years (so the story goes) was the first person diagnosed with "popcorn lung" outside a microwave popcorn factory. If microwaving popcorn is dangerous, what about cooking with fake butter (margarine, etc.)? Best take 2 steps back from the stove, and air out the house. At least this is at the forefront of current research.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month - National Breast Cancer Foundation

There's also the ProVari v2.5 "Pink Ribbon Edition" for the same cause:
ProVari Pink Ribbon Electronic Cigarettes: Pink Ribbon Electric Cigarette, Pink Ribbon E-Cigarette

Update: I just read that NIOSH has set the safe level of 137ug (micrograms)/day for factory workers breathing AP. Mother's Milk has 400ug/ml, so vaping 5ml/day is 14.6x more than what's considered safe. Diacetyl, the chemical that started all this, was only detected at 5.46ug. Both chemicals are considered equally bad.

WOW! JohnD, what a setup for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You do us proud, fella. My Party Time tip is just like yours and love that it goes with most everything cheerful I've got. Thanks for the info too. Can't have too much of that. Hubby eats microwave popcorn quite a bit......for at least the past 30 yrs. PLUS lived with smokers longer than that (mother, first wife, and me) Lungs are clear last checkup. He's 73 yrs. soon. ;)
