DS you can say that again!
Merry, that is great that he is feeling his oats. I can't wait to see him, and how exciting that would be if he is a celeb.
Fresians, Gypsy Vanners, all of them are beautiful and special! There is one I cannot remember the type but it shines like glass, and is almost a champagne color.
Hope you all have a great night and I am glad to share fun stuff today, thanks.:)

Aw-w-w-w, thanks gals for the tribute to the "oldies but goodies." :) I more or less......more......stopped listening to popular music in the late 1970's. Lyrics seemed to be so angry and loud! :( I'm sure I missed some good ones though. Just got stuck I guess. :p Sounding more like my parents every day!

Thank you, Ms.Cruzer, Emmsma, and angel. I wish you all the best with what's on your plates as well.

emms, congrats on the adoptions! That's the way, uh huh uh huh!

Ms.Cruzer, anxiety is definitely a tough one, and yet, you're a non-smoker. Kudos, mega kudos to you.

angel, you are...

willow...... thank you babe. (hugs)

My little guy is home and rather tired and comfy. We'll get thru this just as all of us always do, and with all the love and support felt particularly in this thread....... wow, who could ask for more.

 you guys.
So glad to come back and read that he's home with you and resting.
Loved the videos, Dale and Keepsmiling. Made my day start out with a smile and happy too!

So glad, our furry friends found "forever" homes, Emms; and that your "ol man" is back at home resting comfortably, Katdarling, under your tender loving care.

Weekend is half over, but it looking like it's ending on a high note......IF Doug is up and walking a bit more. Kayte, how's he doing?
He's doing much better! Definitely not 100%, but good improvement. :) He's walkin' real slow, but he's back in the shop today... off and on.:banana::banana:
Thank you for the horsey pic, keepsmiling =) I admit, the grin on my face is primarily because I own a black horse, and everytime I see a white one, all I can think about is "two minutes after the halter comes off, that horse is out in the fields doing mud decopage (sp?)"

Oh and in horsey news; the big guy is feeling so much better he actually took off on me today. Not while I was aboard (which is good, because moments before I was up there bareback), but when I slid the bridle off to let him into the last grass pasture on the ranch that has good munching in it, he pushed right past me as I was going out the gate, and hightailed it back to the barn, snorting, picking his iron shod forefeet up high, and flipping his rump around at me. "Hey dude....you were my ride home!!!!" Ah well =)

This coming Saturday a photo shoot is happening at Ziglar's home. Yesterday, I am told, some folks from Chevy came out to look the place over and do their advance shot setups, for some of their flyers/ad literature. Deb says they were all a'goggle over the Big Guy, so he may be coming soon to a mailbox near you, posing next to a Chevy truck. I don't mind...when he came into my life I knew from the start, he's mama's boy, but his beauty belongs to everyone with eyes to see it.
How fun is that?!?! Make sure we get to see it if it happens. ;)
I love that song.... I'm so tired today guess I did too much around the house this weekend. Pretty sure I'll have to take a nap after work:)
You and me both. I may need to spend a whole day taking a nap this week. :D

dale - thanks for sharing the hummer video. Made me smile! Also made me want to train a hummer to come in for breakfast. How fun! :D

It's been windy and cooler here today. I guess it will be substantially colder tomorrow, so I best go split some wood. (I like using the splitter. I just don't like having to carry it all back into the shed. lol)

I'm really really really hoping I'll have a couple of tips to show you this evening. See you later!

YES!!!!! :w00t: Keepsmiling, those definitely are right up my alley. Calm, peaceful, lyrics I can understand. :p I speak slow so I hear slow and will feign deafness if I get a fast talker on the phone.

Edit to add: Yay-y-y-y! Doug made it all the way to the shop! Don't over do. It'll take a full week to get "kink free". :p

Nothing wrong with that and I agree... a lot of rock (metal) is angry and loud. It tends to grate on my nerves if it's on somewhere and I have to listen to it for very long. That's NOT because I'm old. It's always done that to me.
There is lovely music Chooch...I have always liked all kinds of different music, including rock. But given a choice, I now choose smooth jazz.. like this~
Keiko Matsui - Deep blue - YouTube

or this
Sade - By Your Side - YouTube
Beautiful. :)

We should set aside a night for everyone to share some of their favorite songs. Sounds like fun!

Monday slid by without getting crazy! I'm so happy about that. I got more rest this weekend so maybe it was just my demeanor. :)

I've decided these MhM tips are made of magic. You guys just thought it was glitter! I have other acrylic tips but none feel as good to me as these do. So smooth.

I think the older I get, the more diverse my interest in music has become. I still can't listen to hard rock or heavy metal and never could. My kids tried to drive me insane with that for a time.

Music night sounds like fun. I've listened to lots over the years, from folk to pop, to punk and metal. Disco rap soul, motown...

I tend to lean towards 80's- new wave, pop, rock and 60's-70's Classic rock. :)

Had a good day. All the pets were taken care of and are now comfy in their new homes. On exam, we found several of the gals were already taken care of, so we finished in time to break for lunch before we launched into our appointments.

Vapemail today. Got the extra batteries for my Vmax 3. Now I've got a pair of 18650's and a pair of 18350's. Also plastic cases for both sized batteries and a couple replacement glass tubes for the Aero and Geni tank megas.

I'm happy and having a Moon Pie.
No RC Colas, though. :p

Hello Chooch! I think kids, teens primarily, think it's their job. I'm watching my,oldest son get his pay back with two daughters now. One is 13 and is head over heels in love with One Direction's music, much to his dismay. Gee, I said that like I'm enjoying it. :D

I'm ready for a little cooler temps. We get so little winter that I enjoy it when it comes. Last year we had ice for 3 days and the whole place shut down. I was loving it until the airport and roads didn't open and we had a plane to catch to get to Ft. Lauderdale for a cruise. Then it wasn't fun anymore.
