ROTFLMAO....you should try 2 dcc's at 6V simultaneously...it'll blow your socks off and make your head spin like a hoot owl.
the heck with the ozone my mind would melt its bad enough now lol

... My vaping style is 6V with a dcc. ...
I wish that 2 second drags was all I took...I max the 10 second cutoffs. I vape like I smoked...double draw. Yet another reason I don't care for the lavatube or other mods that have a cutoff...too darn short...LOL.

What do you use? I've been handling my 6v vaping with a Prodigy 3.1 using stacked Tenergy LiFePO's. Decided to give your ten-second drag a try. It heated the drip tip up tremendously but seemed to produce a lot less vapour and only a little more flavour (though no real increase in intensity). I figured maybe the batts needed charging so I replaced them with a fresh set and get exactly the same result.
Two second drag = roughly the same vapour as fresh 3.7 with a bit more intense flavour.
Five second drag = same vapour as above with even more of an intense flavour.
Ten second drag = half (or less) of the vapour production as above, flavour somewhere in between.
Drag until the tip gets to hot to hold = almost no vapor, drop in flavour intensity and a burn taste on the exhale.

Am I over-drawing the batteries? The Prodigy is mechanical, so I can't see how it would be "dropping out," but something weird is going on. The longer the drag the more it dries out my throat so I know there is more juice/vapor being "transferred," but I never really had a hacking problem until I hit four ten-second drags within a minute to see if I could get some sort of vapour increase. Had to let the PV sit for about three minutes to let the chrome drip tip cool down, too. I've discoloured it more in the last five minutes than in the previous two months of constant use
Anyway, do you have any ideas? Because I am stumpificated...
What do I use?...any mod that will fit 2 lifepo4 batteries.
As for dropping out, what are you using on it? I only run dcc's, tcc's, and Boge 3ohm on mine and haven't had any vapor loss. If you're using a thick liquid, you can't hit for very long or it'll burn up the juice and singe the filler.
Also, check the spring in your prodigy. If it looks black on the ends, it has collapsed at some point and will no longer make good contact. Once that happens, you will get good contact on short burst but not on longer bursts.
As for over-drawing on the batteries, just don't let them run completely down. I vape heavily, so I swap mine out every 4 hours. I also rotate them. I have colored dots that I put on one battery within a set. When I remove them from the mod, I move the dot to the other battery so that I when I put them back in after charging, I know which one got hit the hardest. That keeps them draining evenly...if that all made sense to you.
Thanks for the link. I wish it were a video instead lol.To change the carto, make sure you have an empty tank, either by vaping dry or emptying with a syring (or not caring about losing juice and getting messy fingers). Take the thumbscrew out of the tank, then disassemble the tank. Reassembly follows this procedure:

The biggest advantage, in my eyes, of these tanks over any other is the thumb screw filling port. It is SO convenient. I would like to know how the threading into the tubing is done? I wonder because it just bites so well. Even if the screw is only a half-turn on there it won't leak or fall out because there's such a great grip on it.
