How much money are you looking to spend. There are a million mods that'll give you long battery life. I'd stay away from the disposable ones. The eGos and the Twist and kGo. The Twist will last all day, but it's disposable and what are you going to use when it's charging? You don't want to charge it overnight while you sleep. Waking up to a burning house is no fun.

Hey Sailorman. Sorry to jump in here but this grabbed my attention. I have a few of these coming to me this week. So, charging overnight is a no-no?

sailorman - Do you know if the SB is regulated at 3.7v using the 18650 battery, or does it just use whatever the battery puts out off the charger?

It's not regulated. With a good battery, you'll spend the first few hours vaping at 4.0-4.2 volts.
My BB uses 14500s. I vape it for about 3 hours between charges and when I check it, the battery is usually about 3.8V.

It's not a good idea to charge overnight, particularly with the cheap chargers used on eGo type batteries. I admit, I've done it, but only with a good charger and regular loose batteries. Those little eGo chargers malfunction too often, and so does the cheap circuitry inside the eGo type PVs. There are lots of threads around here titled something like "my ego blew up". 99% of the time, it was when it was on the charger.

It's generally not a good idea to leave Li-ion batteries on the charger unattended. Even with the new smart chargers, you should monitor the charging of your batteries.

Go for Provari. At the end - cheap stuff always cost you more. I usually trying to buy better quality US made product- if I spend my $$ I like to see it go to our fellow craftsman.

Are you calling the U.S. made Silver Bullet "cheap stuff"?

Must be talking about the LT. Not everyone has $250 bucks to drop on a Provari. Besides, a $75 LT does 95% of what a Provari does and you can buy a new one every year for 3 years. At the end of 3 years, you'll have the latest technology while the Provangelists will have a PV with 3 year old technology. And you'll both have spent the same amount.

Thanks! I've been looking at these for the past few days as another option in the arsenal and I think I'll be getting one at some point in the near future. They just look solid and well built, and I like that.

Eek! Wow, that is good to know. Thank you.

Just as an FYI, that doesn't mean they need to be in your view at all times. Just make sure you check them every 15 to 30 minutes or so to make sure they aren't getting hot while charging. Slightly warm is OK, but when it gets hot it's a sign that something is going wrong.

Exactly. Some people are hyper-paranoid about it and only charge them outside or in a concrete bunker or a lipo sack or other such craziness. Every time something happens, mass hysteria rolls through here like a tidal wave.

Just use good sense. Dont charge it on top of a gas can. Don't leave it on the charger for hours after it's charged. Don't leave it charging while you go out drinking. Check on it now and then and you'll be fine. Oh, and use a hub or a wall adapter if you can. No sense taking out your computer too if something happens.

Hey Sailor...I'm not hyper-paranoid - just had one melt down & start smoking while plugged into my pc right next to me. I'm still using a passthru but watch it like a hawk + use a Lipo-Safe bag for the wall. Rather be safe then sorry.

You shouldn't charge it on your pc. I don't even use a passthrough on a PC and i'm not paranoid. A wall adapter is $5. Better yet, a self-powered USB hub.

I see some juices say 100% vg, dose that matter with it not having any pg, mixed in with it, as far as getting any more smoke

VG makes more vapor, but it mutes the flavor and the throat hit. It's also thicker. If you use a carto tank, you may need to enlarge the hole or use a 2 hole cartomizer.

PG is a better flavor carrier but doesn't produce as much vapor. Some people have some intolerance to too much of it. Personally, I can't handle more than 30%.. So, I use 30%PG/70%VG most of the time.
