I make only one/two large orders a month. I spend most of my time researching items, reading reviews, and emptying the cart out and then filling it back up again before the actual order. I always try to get one or two new pieces of equip so I have a new toy to play with for the month. Mostly I build on the stock that I have found works well for me. I have 20 some vivi novas and pv's to match which have been bought very cheap since everyone else is buying protanks/evod batts. I have probably enough diy equip to start my own company. It's amazing how much you can accumulate. I also have only spent half of what I would have if I had continued to smoke. At this point I am still stocking and need nothing.

vaping is less expensive.

Shortly after starting vaping, I lost my job and was unemployed for 3 months. I had no income, and unemployment barely covered rent and food. I had prepared a bit with my last paycheck; stocked up as much as I could. Won a few contests. Met a few folks here at ECF who PIF'd a few juices my way. I still had vape supplies.

Even after returning to a job, the paychecks don't meet my needs (was living paycheck by paycheck before), and mostly have not run out. It's bare bones, but I still win a few contests and scrape to make certain I have coils and what's needed.

If I were smoking, I wouldn't have cigarettes, I would be smoking butts from the ashtrays, and smoking other people's butts from their ashtrays, and punching a lot of walls.

So, it's a matter of perspective. Yes, it's much more economical to vape than smoke. I live it every day, and I'm not wanting for my nicotine -- and I am so grateful for that. Who likes to punch walls?

I feel your pain. I have been there and may be there again one day.

With vaping, time cures all monetary wounds. Like others have said here, you'll taper off. Plus, the savings from cigarettes are a ton more than one might think. I haven't even hit 4 years yet, and there is no way I could have spent what I have saved. I would have to have averaged around $275 a month in juice and gear purchases for 46 months to spend my cigarette savings to this point, and I am so far away from that number that it is a no-brainer.

Just get a sig banner to track your savings. You'll also be astounded at the number of cigarettes you haven't smoked. I feel encouraged every time I look at my sig banner!

I quit analogs January 10th, joined ECF in February, and wandered away, saved enough money to buy another horse. Then I got bored of my ejuice and logged back on in late August..........and all these "enablers" promptly noticed my "co-dependency" to which I found myself attending "Vaper's Anonymous"......which is a sham organization that only feeds into your habit of "shinies" and the ultimate vape (I blame ZOE!!!!)

I too have vaped for many years and never spent on anything except cartomizers and the raw ingredients to mix my juice, then I met Zoe, well things have been downhill since LOL Jus' kidding!!!!

Really you will taper off at some point and you will end up spending A LOT LESS than if you would have been buying cigs everyday, and you will be a lot healthier!

We all go though a phase of buying stuff....

BTW Zoe I haven't gotten that 200 Euro transfer...LOL!:vapor:

Although it is certainly possible to save money with vaping, I definitely have, we should not lose sight of the fact that saving money is not the object of the exercise. Staying off cigarettes is first, last, and always a far far more important factor than saving money.
I enjoy talking about the gear, juices....just everything that goes along with vaping; yet talking about it never removes the fact that for all of us health comes first.
We just don't have to announce it in every thread of it's kind like this.

Anybody wanna buy a good used detector...or four??
LOL!!!! No thanks but let us know how that works out for ya!

Just don't spend the mortgage money
OOPS! ;)

This is some of the reason I can recommend a Provari or Svoemaestro. You pay your money, get basically the best on the market, and then upgrade juices or...Kayfuns... ;_;
Although I'd like to, these are the last devices I'd ever recommend to a new vaper because just starting out, they shouldn't invest $200+ until they've committed to vaping.

Hey, I pay cash...lol

For me it was a matter of buying what I WANTED, not what I needed. I wanted the pretty shinies and I wanted solid performance that looked GOOD. I also wanted options.

I just bought it all up front, along with a few things I discovered that would increase the performance of what I had, and planned for the future when I'd be doing stuff myself.

Now I'm at a point where the buying is slowing WAY down and I'm probably mostly set for a while. Also, the novelty of getting new stuff is wearing off a bit. Thank goodness! That's what gets new vapers...the novelty of a whole new world opening up and the amazing array of options.

And I STILL have a ton to show for it, most of it sellable if I don't want/use it, although I made my choices pretty carefully and think I'll be using most of it.
^5 in the air **slap hands**
I swear....this woman right here.....that's my sister from another mister!!!
