I use a syringe with a rubber washer to flush out my attys. There is a video on u-tube or here somewhere that shows how to do it. I just use hot water and rinse with the syringe. Cleans all my attys like new. I never boil, use alcohol, everclear, etc and have not had a atty failure yet (knock on wood). Still using them all for 3 months now.
Also I have found that if you flood the atty with anything they will taste like crap, especially the LR attys.
To me flooding seems to be the number 1 reason for burnt garbage taste.

Everytime i take a drag out of my LR atty, it makes me want to puke....

I tried to clean it with boiling water

i tried pga... i tried dry burning it....

how do i get rid of the bad taste?

LR attys are touchy and prone to starving and burning. They are much hotter than regular ones. If it does this after cleaning and drying and with dripping, then the atty is possibly bad. They do die much faster than regular attys, and are far more likely to have juice burn onto the coil, especially since it seems only dripping is possible. I personally think the LR technology still has a lot of rough edges that need to be worked out. They also drain batts faster. Its a nice idea, but the technology is still rather self-destructive. If it is new, contact the vendor. You might be able to get it replaced.
