Sorry to say I started smoking analogues 100 % with 0 vaping.....
Had some very trying weeks the past few and I am kicking myself for taking the easy way out........
How easy it is (for me) to resort back when times get tough.

I am smoking less of them..but still, not good....

Anyway, just wanted to apologize and I will be back soon to the V world........

Going to change my signature now.......

Keep you all updated on my progress...

Mike don't be so hard on yourself, I vaped for months before I found the right pv and juice. I had cut down to one pack from 2 but was still very much a smoker. You may just need to adjust your nic level or your pv, but don't give up, let it happen. Give yourself the best shot and count the cigs that you don't smoke not the ones you do. I smoked for over 33 years and never thought anything would ever work, but when I found the right combo, I kind of quit by accident, I really wasn't trying.

Hey Mike.. First of all I am a newbie and all I can say is what everyone else has already said. Quitting is one of the most dificult things to do... I myself have still not mastered that one. We are on the right track by being here so don't beat yourself up about it.... Keep coming here and reading until your eyeballs feel like they are going to fall out and good luck... You can do it.

I can relate bud! After more than a month of the juice I'm still not analog free. Granted I'm down to only 1 or 2 a day, but for some reason just haven't totally broken away. I do deal with it like Lisa said. Rather than kick myself for still hanging on a bit, I revel in the fact that I'm "almost" smoke free. Keep at it man! If cold turkey doesn't work for you, try cutting back and mixing it up a bit. Set goals (10 a day for a couple weeks, then down to 7 or 8, etc....) You'll get there.

Best Wishes!

Yeah don't beat yourself up. You might want to try some other juices or a different PV. Maybe if you are using cartos, try a unit with carts, or vice versa. And try different juices until you happen upon one that hits the spot for you. Another thing that helped me is that the smokes I have around for emergencies are not ones I like. And I have enough batteries to leave the PV set up when I go to bed so it will be right there whenever I get up. Good luck!!

Just an after-thought since my last post here.... (a couple things actually)

First, please don't think that just because you've smoked some analogs that the fight is over. You can still vape (unless you're really hating the e-cig you have - in which case, you might ask around here and find something that works better for you), and smoke at the same time. A lot of people did not go "cold turkey" - most just let e-cigs help them cut back gradually.

Second, and this is only *my* experience, but I think the reason e-cigs have worked for me is because I never *expected* an e-cig to replace my analogs. For me, when I was smoking, even the THOUGHT of quitting stressed me out so much that I would actually smoke MORE (lol even talking about it now I've been hitting my pv pretty hard).

Bottom line is you may have lost this battle, but you haven't lost the war! Keep on trying, Mike. Even if you've smoked a pack or two at this point, you can still do it. Just try again. And again. You CAN do it!
