I've had my SSR about a week now. Never leaked the way you discribe. I have had it leak a little bit every once in awhile.

I was a firm 6v or 5v guy for almost a year and a half before these tanks and CE2 came out. The SSR and another tank I use have completely turned me around to a 3.7v guy. I get better flavor and MORE vapo clouds than on my 6V device. I use the SSR on my Silver Bullet with a 18650 3.7V battery or on a eGo battery. Both just make me invisible in the clouds of vapor.

Try reducing your voltage. I also make my own juice. I put in the liquid nic then flavoring and fill the remaining volumn of the bottle with 50/50 pg/vg.

Hopes this helps.

I cut the loops in the wicks. you can cut the loop higher on one end so one end falls down further into the tank. Older CE2's have the loops.

I untwist the wicks all the way and make sure they are untwisted and seperated all the way back to the ceramic cup and pick them apart close to the ceramic cup with a dental pick so the wicks almost fill the whole slot.

When I take a draw, I hold my PV so the wicks are straight up and down so the juice is drawn into the ceramic cup.

I just got my SSR today and I already love it. It's so easy to take apart and put back together. I had some problems with gurgling at first, but I just flipped the ce2 fill cap and put it back on properly, now it's wicking, and not leaking at all. Once I got the 901 adapter to the right setting, it's just perfect. I'm gonna swap the 2.4-2.6ohm guts with 2.6-2.8ohm guts as soon as they arrive.

Great product! I may even get another at some point in the future.

EDIT: Yeah, the wicks are pretty short, just flip it occasionally when you get low.

Got mine today, having one issue though, keep getting a burned taste every 2nd-3rd hit. Original ce2 would only taste burnt, replaced the with a new one, still a burned taste every other hit (no matter what voltage I set it to), frayed the wick like someone suggested on the chat, improved it to every 3rd, but it's still there.... What am I doing wrong?

Have you used CE2's before, more specifically, have you used them with no burning?

they are different than cartomizers and perform different, and different way that you need to use them.

Many say that they rinse and dry burn and rinse again.

But yes, tipping it every few hits will re-wick if all else fails.
Might want to line up the wick/slots vertical, as you take a hit.
This will re-wick automatically each time you take a hit.

Great!

I think CE2's have two things. So it would be 50% of this and 50% of that to know how to perform correct.

1. Need to know about the dry burning process to clean them.
2. Need to know about the way they wick, and to align them verically so that each horizontal hit will re-wick/re-wet them.

After i learned this, they are great.
Now, too much voltage on anything will create dry/burnt hits, and chain vaping too fast, along with numerous other things.

I sent you an email regarding my last order. Have you completed the order yet? Help me out I am confused with our exchange. I am trying to order the CE2 for the SSR. Did I order the correct ones? Also you have the CE2- O rings is that different from the SSR-O ring? I will be placing another order for some of the spare parts and SSR tanks. I just want to make sure I get it right.

Been using mine for around 2 hours and I gotta say, this is awsum:p Love the easy ce2 change. I do have one question, anyone know the delrin o-ring size? I like to use the white food grade orings and need to order from carr...Think I'll use clearos for the ease of taking off the tube...:vapor:

I love all 3 of my SSR's. That's why I am sorry I ever used VaporBombs CinnaBomb in 1 of them. I hadn't vaped that in a long time and found a little and figured I'd just use it up.

I now have a canker sore inside my lip where i vaped and the top and bottom caps of the SSR got soft like taffy. The bottom got the worst of it. I am soaking it in pure H2O now and will see if I can save it.

That's the last Hot Cinnamon vape for me.

I am not a menthol vaper. The only types of liquids I have ever heard that were hard on things likes clearomizer tubes were cinnamon and acidic/oily fruit flavors. I didn't have any leaking.

The SSR's tube laughed off the CinnaBomb. All of the O-rings look fine as well, shiny and elastic. The inside of the top cap is a little sticky and the inside of the bottom cap is...ugh. I could probably scrape the top 1/32"-1/24" off with my fingernail if I wanted to. The ce2 wick is the worst that I have seen as well.
