2011 - vaping becomes mainstream

1. The FDA will come in swinging and end up getting spanked.
2. A big tobacco company will start selling ejuice.
3. An Asian company will begin to mass produce a VV juice fed mod. It will suck.
4. Atomizers and cartomizers will improve in quality and performance and life.
5. Batts will remain unchanged.
6. A major health organization will endorse ecigs as a safer alternative to smoking.
7. There will be a major safety scare when people realize that heating/burning ANYTHING creates waste products that are less healthful to inhale than pure air is. I will laugh when everyone acts shocked and surprised.
8. vaping will be banned on US flights and probably in government buildings.
9. Probably the last year with no ridiculous taxes.

It will be fun to look back next year and see if any of these come true :)

1) We have not heard the last word from the FDA... If they actually decide to do as they have been told, they will make it so eCigs cannot be advertised or shipped across state lines. I think this is not the year, but it's the end game for them.
2) They will... no doubt. They will also have rebranded Automatic eCigs... but I doubt this is the year for it... soon though.
3) Yep, absolutely this year, maybe even in first half of the year.
4) They already are... more improvements coming as well. By the 3rd Quarter you won't recognize the juice delivery and atomization systems compared to today.
5) Batts are changing really really fast, and safe chemistry is at the forefront. But this will be LESS of an issue, because with Buckboost circuitry on vv and vw(Variable Wattage) the NiMh battery may become a vaping standard. Imagine being able to buy a battery at Ace Hardware! (if you're smart enough to NOT be using an eGo or Riva with an encapsulated battery)
6) Ummmm... no?
7) a MAJOR health scare? Nope.
8) Already technically banned as the eCig is not on the list of approved electronics. Gov Buildings... likely.
9) We have a way to go before they hit us with a use/sin tax.

Rest assured, the best is yet to come, and the WORST is also yet to come.

Good times!

2) It would not surprise me if one of the BT companies drove a truck load of cash to one of the more popular juice vendors (BwB or someone like them) for the rights to make the juice. Not saying you will see Phillip Morris Applewood in the coming year but, they have to start planning on it. Sure they care much more about the juice they make/license than the device they make/license.
