Jaysus. You go to Southeast Asia for a bit and you can't find anything. Ha! I'm happy my favorite ECF thread has a part deux.

While I was away, I didn't vape any NETs. I used the trip to vape a bunch of juices that I just wanted to get rid of. Upon coming home, I busted out some Bluegrass Burley. It slightly takes the sting out of being back in America. Ha!

Raymond, do you find the heat and humidity in SEA affects juice differently? I'm headed for India in 4 weeks and looking at temps of around 33 - 35C (90F+) with around 70+% humidity. Wondering if I should bother taking my A stock or B stock.

The last time I went, I wasn't vaping yet.

This sounds like exactly what I'm looking for; I checked out altCigs and I only see one that seems to fit -- Bob's Krave Kutter. Do you know of any other flavors/makers/sites that offer this, the authentic taste and sensation? I realize that after I'm not actually smoking real cigarettes, that my tastes *will* change -- because non-smokers find the taste of cigarettes foul! But I really need this kind of "bridge," in order to get to that other side, the non-smoking side.

I've ordered, and am waiting for, a small 5mL sample from EC Blend, of a flavor actually called "Dirty Ash Tray," and many reviewers say it is "the closest to a real burning cigarette" they ever tasted; we'll see! :) Depending on how I feel about "Dirty Ash Tray," I'll either order it in a bigger size, or maybe try out the "Bob's Krave Kutter." Any others that anyone knows of like this, would be very welcome info!

Thx,
Andria

Sometimes liquids taste exactly how they are described. Sometimes that's a good thing, and, well...

Hello again everyone. just a couple quick responses before I sit quietly and listen some more....
EleanorR - As usual, Dear Lady, your advice is well received. I have spoken over the phone with a salesperson at VR, and they advised me to call back during the week to talk with Dave (manager?) to see if they can help me with some higher VG ratios.
AndriaD - I don't know if I can help you in your search, I went strait for sweet vapes when I quit tobacco. It was Mr.Mann who later convinced me to try tobacco e-liquids (glad he did). There is a vendor named Naturally-Extracted-Tobaccos.com, or NET.com. Clay is one of us, and he does produce some tobacco vapes that seem to have a certain 'texture' that I personally find close to actual smoke. Unfortunatly, at this time his site is down. Maybe early this week you might contact him and ask about his wares.

To be honest, I don't know. I took my B e-liquids and B mods with me...and I was drunk most of the time. Ha!

When I went last month, I did bring some Ahlusion and Goodejuice with me. I didn't notice any drastic changes, but I was only there for 10 days...and I was drunk most of the time.

I'm not too sure these two small sample sizes show much of anything. Four weeks straight would definitely be a more trying test.

Hey - welcome back Raymond & thanks for the PM!

I just opened my smooth criminal (xpress) for the the first time (got it two weeks ago), and I'm not sure but is there cinnamon in this? Also, it kind of tastes faintly like boba's bounty, and I heard that it was supposed to be a NET version of it. I don't know if that's the power of suggestion, or the fact that I was vaping bobas in this mini PT II with the same coil (thoroughly cleaned, but you never know). I guess I'll have to wait until I get the nerve to build my first coil on the kayfun lite + clone to see the nuances. I'm guessing this juice is now about a month old since it's express, but the best buy date says 3/14 so....?

I like it for sure, but would love to actually taste some tobacco with it! From what I've read, I've got like a year to wait for that to happen, ugh... worth it I hope.

I'm getting really sick of the muted flavor in these tanks, and it's time to step up the vape game and hang like you guys! Perhaps I'll give the coil building a go tomorrow after studying. I'm getting really sick of studying too :)

Damn, if I had known you were having the "muted flavor" issues I would've thrown in an atty for you to taste the flavors of the liquids I sent. Also, know that to step-up your game sometimes doesn't even require, necessarily, mo' money.

I KNEW I WASNT CRAZY!!! I could've sworn it smelled a little like Boba's when I first took a sniff of it. I thought my nose was just trying to mess with me.

Having said that, the flavor from actually vaping it is verreeeeeery different from Boba's. For me it was in a good way though. I've left mine untouched since, and I'm looking forward to cracking it open at the one month date.

Well, some of the reviews are like "ick! yuck! blech!" and so on, and all they do with those is put a little editorial note: "it's not for everyone!" So it doesn't seem that they are censoring, editing, or completely making them up -- plus, some of the reviews have good spelling/grammar/punctuation, and some are the usual fare one sees online... :) So I think the reviews are fairly honest, at least written by different people.

Andria, you know, one of the problems with site reviews is that you can't check with the reviewer to ask about their previous experiences. I can show you a review I did of the SafeCig back in 2010, and while I truly believed what I said at the time, I had also only tried 3-4 flavors. I am sure I spoke of a "best" flavor, but that was the only the best of a few and from one place.

Setting that aside, I sincerely hope you find what you are looking for. That is all that matters. If Dirty Ash Tray works, vape on, my friend, vape on!

Hey Mann, don't sweat it. I have a few joye 306's and a cheapo vision 510 laying around here. I've just gotten a little tired of the constant dripping, so I've regressed back to the tanks for the sake of convenience. I picked up two Igo drippers, and now with this kayfun, I should be set. I am however interested in what you mean by stepping up the game sans spending more ducketts - please explain :)

As tobeco says: "together best cooperation"

Well, for 1) there's dripping attys; but since you have those, it's a big never mind. 2) clones. I do have a clone (it was a gift), and while I personally would rather buy the original, I completely understand that all too much in the vaping world can be priced out of particular budgets. When I spoke of upgrading without spending "mo' money," I didn't mean not having to spend at all, just that you don't have to break the bank to really vape well, i.e., upgrade. For me, vaping well is all about getting vendor-intended flavor in vapor, not about how aesthetically pleasing, mechanically complicated or expensive the device is used to get said flavor.

Oh I see...I'm with you 100% on function over form. Add to that the fact that I'm cheap and poor, and clone city here I come!

^I approve of this message.

Even though I sometimes complain about having way too much selection on hand, I still love getting juice from friends. I have also given away a LOT of juice, but truth be told I've received much more than I've given.

Maple Burley... impressions still the same, light and airy tobacco alongside delicous maple. No not maple syrup, not pancake syrup, just maple. The juice on a whole is...... amazing! I predicted from first try it will be up there with Vurley and Peach as my favorite flavored aros, and it will. Gonna give er a long session today. Love it.

NETizens, is the Burley in Maple Burley similar to the Blue Grass Burley? Also, how about its coil performance? I'm trying to decide between Maple Wild Wood and Maple Burley. I vape BGB occasionally but I'm not a big fan of BGB so far. It still reminds me of woodsy smokiness.

Unfortunately true; when I was reading those reviews, I was wishing I could contact the authors. But I think reviews, when taken en masse, are still the best way for any consumer of any product to find what they're looking for, and to know when a product isn't worth looking at further -- some folks are just chronic complainers, the kind who'd b*tch about being hung with a new rope, as my husband puts it -- but a series of reviews can generally shed some light on the matter. And the overwhelming majority of reviews of the Dirty Ashtray were extremely positive -- only a couple going "blech!" So it does sound like something I really need to at least try out, to try and find something that will satisfy my cigarette jones.

Setting that aside, I sincerely hope you find what you are looking for. That is all that matters. If Dirty Ash Tray works, vape on, my friend, vape on!

And if it doesn't, I'm not out very much, and I will definitely try out that altCigs "Bob's Krave Kutter" -- and I'm still on the lookout for those "tobacco absolute" e-juices, which sound like exactly what I'm looking for.

Thx!
Andria

Trying Analog from GeJ now (thanks, BecknCO). Uhh, I don't remember what was said about this liquid but I am left scratching my head. No, my head don't itch. If I didn't have issues with showing my actual face around here, I'd take a pic of it to show you a real reaction (think Silvio from The Sopranos).

Not only do I think this liquid is a miss, I am not quite certain of why it's even made. I mean, after Wrangler Light, why this? It has a distinct natural tobacco room note upon exhale that is decent, but there is something quite synthetic on the palate that I am not really diggin' at all. Maybe this will change, but I won't be finding out tonight.
