BJ,
I just dug up my bottles of PrimeVaping Nostalgia and Natural tobacco. That makes it sound like I exhumed them from their graves, which is poetically accurate if not literally true. I atty-dripped some of each. With the caveat that both bottles are going on two years old, my experience of them now (not having vaped either for the past year) is that the tobacco in both, which is presumably the same extract, does indeed taste like a macerated NET, but the flavor is somewhat muddy and undistinguished. If I had to guess, I'd say that Virginia and Burley were used for the extract. The chocolate/cocoa or malt added to Nostalgia doesn't strike me as perfumey, but instead almost chalky, and the Natural tobacco seems to have some additional sweetener that I'm not particularly in love with.
Both are about the same as I remember them being when new, just less vibrant due to advanced age. They're not dreadful, not even bad, but they simply don't rank among the many superior NETs we regularly discuss on the thread. The Natural Tobacco has held up better than the Nostalgia, but I wouldn't choose to vape either, especially when I have so many very good retail NETs. My own home-brewed NETs, which are mostly my tobacco vapes of choice these days, are also far superior to these.
Thanks bill!
Well, I just exhumed (lol) my old bottle and to be fair it was 24 mg AND "extra flavor". It was the malt I think that took it over the top. What you are getting as chalky at 2 years is what I got as perfumey at 2 months.
I totally agree, vapeable if it was the best there was but in this day and age not worthy.
Man, how do I get my hands on some of the DIY???
