Hearth and Home Signature - Stogie Pipe Tobacco

Tobacco: Burley, Cavendish, Cigarleaf, Latakia, Perique, Turkish, Virginia

This juice has a lot of the tobaccos that I love, but damn is it total mayhem when vaping it. Left side of brain screaming Cigar. Right side of brain singing Pipe. La la la.. End result = Total confusion.

I've quieted both sides down enough so that I can actually try and understand this juice a little better. There's the dryness and familiar cigar feel to it, but there's also all those other notes that play along. The slight funk of the Perique, the bitter smokiness of the Latakia and in lesser quantities, the other tobaccos with a slightly spicy finish. The cigar leaf is definitely the top note in this juice, and as such I'm not it's biggest fan but, it makes for an interesting vape for sure. Interesting but not something I'd order again, maybe. ;)

Dusty, quit freaking over the complexity of Stogie and enjoy it for the excellent flavor it is. Right brain, left brain, pfffft!;)

I attached the KFL to my e-Pipe to further confuse matters.

 Your epipes are way cool!! If I didn't prefer drippers I'd be with you man.

Thank you!

I'm trying to love my drippers more.. it's that whole, gotta keep it vertical thing that gets to me. I can't just put it down, or carry it how I want. I look like I'm marching with the damn Olympic torch held in front of me when walking around with my Mech w/Magma attached. :D

Scrap the pimp stick and get a Reo. Then your hand is always on a warm box and who can knock that?

I have a Grand with a BF Era.. not seeing much love for the last year or two. It's backup, to my backup, twice over .. i.e My Zombie Apocalypse mod.

I'm not selling it, but I ain't using it either. I learned today that I can get the centre post of the Magma drilled out to be a BF. Now, if that happens.. Game on!!

The Magma can be drilled. Do you have the new contacts in your Reo? If not, get the kit. It makes the Reo one of the hardest hitters with exceptionally low voltage drop. I don't leave the house without mine and no one ever sees me hold anything roughly the size and shape of a female pleasure device near my face!

If I ever get around to getting the Magma drilled out, I'll pick up a kit. I don't think I'll go super low-end on it anyway. I have a 1.2 ohm build on it now with the Era, and it's fine in that range for me, whenever I choose to use it. :)

p.s - The ZNA does not resemble what you described. ;)

Son of a, just wrote out a long post, and Tapatalk crapped out on me. Well, I'm sure as hell not typing that out again. I'll just say; Magma and Origen V2 drippers, and Stingray X mech clones all arrived and I'm very happy with them. The end. Errrr.
I HATE when that happens! And it does happen... grrrrrrr

Watch for the crunchy switch on that X clone. Sexy as all get out, but prone to problems from what I gather.

Welcome to the Magmatized club. ;)

It's extremely crunchy, but no worries here, it's the same design as a Nemmy switch so I know the fixes. Needs a good cleaning, a quick work-out, and some graphite from a pencil and it will be butter smooth.

Just did a quick pH test on a few juices:

NET.com Black Cavendish 5mg 70PG/30VG : 8

NET.com Black Cavendish 5mg 100VG: 8

NET.com Choctaw Perique 5mg 70PG/30VG: 8

Want2Vape London 6mg: 6

Want2Vape CI Cigar: 8

Ethervapes Eclipse 6mg: 7

Goodejuice Patriot 6mg: 7

Goodejuice Organic Tobacco #1 6mg: 8

Observations:

CI Cigar was the one juice I bought from W2V that I enjoyed, and that has a higher pH than the London, which I mentioned was too harsh and analog-like for me (I had a similar impression of MOV juices). It has the same pH as all the NET.com juices, 8, which are my favorite. My current favorite GeJ, Organic Tobacco #1, also clocks in at 8.

7 is neutral on the pH scale, so it may be that I don't care for more acidic juices, as London was a 6.

I will test some more juices and post my findings.

--------------------------------------------------------------

EDIT:Also, my 1:1 Magma clone with copper airflow-control arrived from Fasttech this afternoon.

What do I have to say about it? I'm running a double twisted 32g kanthal coil that hit approximately 1.5 Ω, loosely wrapped and well-torched, heats from the center just fine and no hot legs! :)

The flavor is amazing. Simply amazing. Even with the AFC halfway open and a single coil, this is the best I've ever had Dover Court taste.

And, as an added bonus, it threaded into my brass VAMO (which surprised the heck out of me) without an ego-ego adapter.

Anyone considering getting a Plume Veil? Forgettaboutit; get a Magma: the Plume Veil is going to leak all over you if you go a drop or two over when dripping, as the bottom airflow channels are lined up with where the wick would touch the deck in a standard build- this means that the well is a very short distance from the bottom air intakes (horrible design feature, IMO. The well is useless) The Magma does not have this flaw, does not crackle and flood/ get juice all over the place.

Plus, it hits great at 5.5w. 5.5w! Now I just need to get more devices and more Magmas to put on them. :2cool: :vapor:

Thanks to everyone who suggested the Magma! :D

I just wish I would have done a bit more research before getting the Plume Veil.

I'm going to re-purpose these plume veils, as they are now obsolete to me.

EDIT #2: Seems as if opening up both of the smallest airflow holes does pretty good, as well.

Still getting clouds of flavor, and vapor. I think I've settled in at 15mg for now, but might consider some more 12mg juices in the near future.:p

The magma is just about perfect except the air flow control ring. First don't ever get upside down and right side up mixed up and dont mix up single coil vs dual coil with the AFC ring. Many of us have removed the AFC ring altogether due to these issues (I prefer a heavy draw.) Other than that it my favoriet by far dripper it has unbelievable flavor and all around quality even the paradigm clone, don't even try to look for something better such an animal doesn't exit. Just stop now:)

I decided to take tomorrow off from work so I can clean up my Stingray X and fix the switch and to clean, build, and test my Origen V2 and Magma. Is that so wrong? Probably, but I'm ok with it. :D

Man needs to find the time to tinker sometimes. No harm in that. I think more of us could benefit from spending time by ourselves doing the things we love. Have fun Jerms, and report back with findings. :)

Dusty, you have nailed the problem on the head, as far as I'm concerned, by explaining a big reason I have so lax in enthusiasm of purchasing Magma clone dripper. That and the total "klutz" factor with re-wicking. Luckily, Johni offered to come to the rescue concerning re-wicking. ;)
