I have barely touched the order I got back in Oct/Nov when her extraction process improved and have Vaped maybe 30% of the order I got back in about July with the low font flavor cigar extractions.

I would be a fool with my money if I were to order again until I vape a significant portion of what I have. Diane is certainly a go to vendor for NETs.

The array of extracts she has is bewildering. It would be great if she had 3ml or 5ml sampler sets of whole lines of extract. Or perhaps a complete box set of 4-5 ml samplers of all her extracts in a lovely wooden designer box with a velvety interior for say, $300. I can just imagine it. It would include a glossy booklet that describes all the juices origins and tobacco profiles.

Would that not be the greatest birthday, Father's Day or Christmas present ever!?

great idea Anthony! only I think the price may scare off a few customers even though the liquids are great........

Hey guys,

Here is a review of Black Note e-liquids by Robert Ellis. He seems to be entirely and absolutely taken by this line of NETs. However, I posed a question in the comments section about whether he has tried some well established top notch NET's to compare this liquid too.

Black Note doesn't deliver to Australia. It would be interesting to see how they stack up to the A+ Tier NET's on this thread.

They certainly seem to be a very sleek and professional outlook. They claim their liquids are lab tested and lack any nasty chemicals that occasionally can be found in juices (think Cuttwood and Suicide Bunny).

One can also customize the label on their bottle.

All this really means little if the liquids don't at least compare with some of the well established NET's we all know about.

I will not even try this liquid at a dollar per ml. I enjoy other vendors at a lower price and certainly all the extractions I made, which turned out great, IMO, or far less than $1 dollar per ml. :D

Anthony, perfectly understand your curiosity about Black Note as I've ask a friend to send me 5 weeks ago Cadenza, Legato and Bravura. To make it short, I deeply regret my impulsive buy, spending such amount for liquids which I found just average at the end.

My advise is that you'll find in the A-Tier list, much nicer NETs juices for at least half price.

IMHO, the bigger key and general deciding factor specially on Internet forums is also Vendor popularity and fan-base. This sometimes can skew the results heavily in favour of a particular vendor, regardless of whether their product is what one would consider to be traditional or authentic.

I like the way you phrased that Dusty. There is definitely a fan base syndrome that tends to creep in long running threads with long term participants. I've noticed that in other threads as well now that I visit another one frequently.

Some juices and vendors get a cult like following.

Given that they have a sampler set for $60, I would try them if they delivered internationally.

It really depends on the quality as to whether their juices are sold at a reasonable price. It's hard to imagine anyone could rival the A tier vendors we all know and love at this time but that can't be assumed.

I hope someone bites the bullet with these so we can get a review on them and see how they stack up.

Ok wow, so someone has tried them! Thanks for the information Influence. Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you.

Could steeping have been the issue? Did you let them steep long?

I mean, after all they are doing a 6-8 cold maceration. No big deal, all NET vendors and our home based amateur extractors use, more or less, the same methods. But who knows where the next great NET vendor might come from.

I know where ya both been hanging out. ;) and yes, I also notice trends. A new vendor is tried, someone really likes it, and everyone has to try it. I admit, I fall for the hype sometimes , but lately have managed to pretty much stick to my budget. But it ain't always easy!

Next month it will ne something else, but a few vendors are tried and true. NET. com and MVJ are two here.

Hi all, was away from here for quite a while, has been a real delight catching up on the best thread ever :)

I'm getting ready to place my first order for Clay's juices and thought maybe I'd ask for people's input. I won't ask for specific recommendations as I've already seen some from the thread and in any event people tend to like different things, unless there is something of a consensus on one liquid as a real standout (like Confederate for EV..) But a few questions:

1. Will going higher vg than the "recommended" detract from optimal flavor? I have a definite preference for high-vg...

2. Any need for the extra-extract option? I mostly use flavor-chasing drippers and a Sat 22, so I kind of assume I don't, but doesn't hurt to ask.

3. How does Gypsy Blonde compare to W2V Paris? Loved the latter, so I'm definitely looking at getting either Gypsy Blonde or the whole French-Cig pack.

thanks all and sorry if some of this has been covered before, I was not exhaustive in my catching-up...

I have an allergy to PG so I have to order my liquids in 100% VG. I also extract my own liquids in alcohol/VG.
That being said, I feel the 100% VG liquids tends to be slightly sweet. To counteract this effect, I notice, I ask for an extra shot of extract or, when doing my own extraction I use a slightly higher percent of extract in my vape liquid. This solves any issue I may have with 100% VG.
I hope this helps you out as well! :vapor:

Thanks Checkum! Wasn't thinking of going 100 vg, personally i enjoy around 70/30 or so, but what you say about the sweetness is very true and I hadn't thought before about using an extra shot to counteract that. Something to consider...

This commercial is being shown on TV here. Drives me crazy every time it comes on. I don't know who is paying for this ad however no doubt the State as well as the tobacco companies continue to lose revenues. On the other hand I have a niece in college and in one of her classes she mentioned vaping in classrooms does take place. Since it is a college the kids are no doubt at least 18 years old however I do not support vaping in classrooms. For me the onus lies with the schools to post proper signage. Many of the no smoking signs here have been modified (and continues to be modified) to include e-cigs outside of business establishments.

I just discovered this thread and I want to thank everyone for this incredible wealth of information. An instant subscribe. I think I'm going to be spending a lot of time here.

I bought a sample pack of the Black Note e-liquids a few days ago and I'm really impressed with all of their flavors. But then again, I have no previous experience with NETs, so I still have a lot to discover. The only tobacco vape I had before this was the blu ecigs I started on. THIS is another world.

One thing is puzzling me. I see a fair amount of discussion about NETs and "gunky" coils. But I've been dripping the Black Note juices on a single 1 ohm Clapton coil in a Troll RDA for the past 3 days, and my coil is cleaner than with any other e-liquids I've ever vaped. My wick barely even picks up a tint.

Are there only certain brands/flavors of NET that are prone to "gunk"? Or is there a way to filter NETs to reduce the issue? I don't mind doing a little maintenance for great flavor, but I'm going to want to put a great tobacco liquid (when I find the perfect one) in my Subtank Plus, and it sure would be nice if I could make it through an entire tank without a rebuild.

Received 3 aromatics last friday. Thanks again to my friend for her kindness.

Blue Grass Burley, Caribbean Blend and Sweet Georgia Peach.

BGB taste exactly like a NET without the aftertaste, the burley is fantastic and smooth. Best burley ever tried with EtherVapes Bright Burley. Vaped them this morning in 2 different tanks. One has only 2 days of steeping, the other more than 2 months. BGB has a mixture of NET and tobacco lab base (similar to the 2 other aros received), EV BB is 100% NET (burley taste stronger). Both great, if I have to choose one I'll go with BGB because of the TH (nonexistent in EV) and probably because I could vape it longer in the day as it seems to be a mixture between NET and lab. Personally after an hour or two of pure NET vape I need to change to a lab juice.

CB is very spicy and dry, quite similar in taste to the Sahara Blend that I love, with an additional light rum flavor. Drier and more spicy than SB that I prefer but really good nevertheless. For me it's definitely a lab liquid not a NET like.

SGP needs several weeks of steeping to fully develop his potential. The flavor of the peach is natural which is a good point to me.

I like the 3 of them but the one who really impressed me is BGB.

3 of them will have now couple of weeks steeping and I'll see if they improve.

yes, certain net's do "clog" more than others. I found several that are slow to clog. You found one. a couple others are NET.COM and MVJ.com
check out their various offerings to see what you may like. :toast:

If you like paris by W2V you will like the gypsy brunes and the French cig pack. The main difference is that NET.com French cig extractions are not nearly as gunky as Paris, which is one of the most notorious gunkers out there.

If you are using high wattage then higher VG is fine if you don't mind the juice being marginally sweeter.

I always go with extra extract but YMMV.

If you are looking for a good tasting cigar extract I recommend the 7th cut and The Ruins and also the Excalibur if you don't mind spending a bit more.
