I was just sniffing around for companies that made NETs. Looked at one (Vapes4You), apparently a European company. They made it a point to say they use naturally extracted ingredients so I look and saw only six juices. Which is fine. But the first one is called U.S. Red and their angle is it tastes just like a real cigarette (obviously trying to piggyback on the Marlboro success). Is it just me or are there others who are immediatly turned off when a vendor desperately tries to convince me they have an exact cigarette vape? A) I don't know anyone who ever has come close to a real cig, B) I don't want a real cig. As soon as I read that description, I was gone.
We have quite the Tar Heel contingent.
Transplanted Terrapin, actually. About 12 years ago my kids all moved near Monroe NC and started making grandbabies. Guess where Mamaw wanted to be ? Moved down here 11 years ago, no regrets...
Trying to figure out what road you're on. Looks like NC 51 headed north towards the VA border.
Ha...I know. I laughed over that one too. I think they offer only one PG/VG ratio too. I can't remember. I saw the Marlboro, Winston, and Camel knockoffs and I was outta there.![]()
US 74 East out of Charlotte. go about 28 mi and you're in Monroe. I live about 8 mi south of town on a country road. Quiet and peaceful.
It is fun to see how some of them name their knockoffs. Silly names like Marksbro,
Winstone, Kamelot
Oh, I don't know...Winestones and Kramwels have their place, but nothing beats a good ol' Marlblow red!It is fun to see how some of them name their knockoffs. Silly names like Marksbro,

The problem with a majority of those juices that have copy cat names is that it tells you nothing about the juice. All it does is bank a slew of customers who previously had an allegiance to a brand. Granted, "Gollum" or "Patriot" tells you nothing in name, but the description does; however, when the description says "a take on a popular brand?" Really? That's deep. No thanks.
LOL. Not to mention that Gollum and Patriot don't try to advertise themselves as cigarette brands.
