Isn't it funny that most "cig" clones are not NET. The best way to replicate a cig is to use artificial flavoring. What does that tell ya'? LOL

When you look at the chemicals added to tobacco to extend a cigarette's shelf life, using artificial flavors (chemicals) to replicate the flavor of cigarettes (chemicals) makes perfect sense, and reason for me to stay away !

All over the place
Titan Vapors released a couple extracts that were supposedly from actual Marlboro cigarettes. I was reviewing their artificial tobaccos, which were not tasty, and told them about extraction. They emailed me to tell me about their new product. They charge $4.65 for 3ml. I emailed to see if they made a mistake on their site. Never got an email back and the price never changed.

Titanvapor is a conundrum. I won't say what they sent me, but I will say I got a HUGE order of something that was only supposed to be a tiny order (it was all hardware so I was thrilled). Their communication is scarce at best, but their prices are great. Joye attys are like $4.99.

A NET version of an American cigarette should probably shoot for pre-70's versions, when they were still made out of good tobacco...like a Marlboro was sometimg like 4 parts Burley, 3 parts Virginia, and 1 part Turkish....or something like that, with a cocoa topping. BUT -to do a cigarette right there needs to be some representation of "burning". It just wouldn't seem anything like a cigarette to vape if there wasn't some kind of "smoke" in there. There has to be some safe way to do a liquid smoke extract from burning tobacco...?

Everything is a chemical, but it doesn't have to taste like a chemical.

If you want a burning taste, just use one drop in the atty as opposed to three.:laugh: The closest you will get to burning is what is referred to as ash tray. The ash tray flavor is generally associated with Tobacco Absolute.

OK then, maybe a dash of that to the Burley/Virginia/Turkish, lightly topped with cocoa = old timey Marlboro....maybe

One of the companies I used to drive for was a Custom -Made Hardwood Pallet company, and we would take one or two trailer loads of pallets a week to a cigarette manufacurer near Concord, NC. I think they made Doral Menthol and Doral Menthol Lights there. First time in I had to watch a 'Safety Video', which explained two different evacuation sirens among other things. I was also intructed that, if I should see any water/ liquids on the floor DO NOT Approach the spill, and to immediatly find someone who worked there. Now, as factories go, this one was immaculate; Spotlessly clean, well maintained, spacious and orderly. But the smell of the place was repugnant, after 30 minutes I would start to feel nausious. And I Smoked THAT BRAND ! (and would continue to for several more years). From my personal experience, there is nothing 'natural' about the manufacturing of cigarettes.:2c:

Of course I was joking, but in reality, you could use a slightly higher volatge/wattage to at least give some burn.

p.s. Wrangler Lite has a touch of cocoa and it makes that juice very good. You don't even really taste it, but it adds to the experience.

I believe tropical bob has done a few on youtube. I saw the video with snus. Oh! And ask Mwa what he's up to. He tried the dry mix from House of Liquids (they sent the extract and the liquid seperately, then he got inspired, boughta bunch of tobaccos and then disappeared!

Hey guys, if I ever get around to do another extraction experiment, what should I try? RYO? Pipe? Suggestions please.

Just thought I would pop in, I am still following the thread but I wanted to say I revisited Fired in Georgia again tonight (it is about 18 days steeped) and it is great. The smokey flavor I was getting before has disappeared and a nice cigar flavor has come out, the peach flavor has dropped some to. Looking forward to trying Habanna Daydream and Grandpas Nightcap again, may be 3 reorders.
