My Mom said her most favorite day of the year was the day we went back to school. Her least favorite was when we got out for the summer.![]()
You sure we didn't share the same mother? Man, that sounds awfully similar....

I text in slow motion, I'm told. By the time I get a message to someone, they have lost interest in my responseAlso, I took typing in high school (tells you a little bit about MY age) so I have fairly fast typing fingers and real ......ed texting thumbs lol

Know what you mean. Your sunrise to sunset accounting was the same as mine. The door would open in the morning and she'd tell us on the way out she didn't want to see us till dinner. After dinner, we had to go out again. At least we got fed.![]()
Yeah, we fended for ourselves during the day - eating at friends' houses or just going hungry. They had better food anyway.![]()
Ha!
I often wondered why she had me.![]()
I did too....then at 40 years old, I found out I was adopted! Go figure...
Can't figure that one! At least my Mom could say I was an oops (she did when I got much older).
But when she found out she was terminal she begged for me to come stay with her. I did. I had an awesome Mom.![]()
Did ya notice that Coconut Cavendish shows up as a "related item?"
Congrats on your signature blend!
while I know HHV has at least one "single extraction" (I am thinking DH is one) the majority of the extracts are combined to come up with "various different extracts." So I am thinking that since they are in fact mixing their extracts to have a "one," it may be the initial mixing of that one that throws it off. Now, if you're correct that they have only had two batches of DF, not necessarily one DF extract as it's not a single source, I imagine that the concoction is different from the first one I had. Unfortunately, that would mean that it likely won't ever be completely like the first I had.
Jdvapor.co is the Fancee juice no-frills store now open. Jd4 will be their first tobacco juice, that is most likely the NET Dan was talking about, and, from the sounds of it, an RY4 NET. They've mentioned it on ModEnvy tonight, but it's not in the store yet.
Nice. Checked out the jdvaporco site, nice prices, half of what Fancee charges.

HHV's Legend/Serendipity and Huntsman vs NET.com's pipe tobaccos?
Well, I made a rookie mistake and got HHV's 3 ml samples for Legend, Huntsman, Dragon fire and Pirates Booty. I'm using 2.4 ml Triton tanks. Basically, I won't be able to steep these juices since I have so little of them!
My initial (and most likely premature) impressions are below. I am a new vaper and also someone with very limited pipe experience![]()
The Legend so far tastes pretty good to me. Smooth and mild "bodied" tobacco taste with slightly sweet perfect finish. But it's not tasting as complex as I read in some of the reviews. It sounds like it needs to be steeped 1+ month.
Dragon's Fire tasted like more of a medium bodied tobacco with less sweet finish. I enjoyed that one too but while it had more body, it wasn't as interesting as Legend.
Hunstman was off. Or the wick was burned, I thought. I checked the wick and it had only a small brown spot on it. The vape tasted chemically and kind of slightly burnt. I put the rest of the liquid back in the plastic bottle and I'll retry this week. I'm hoping that the wick gave that off flavor.
Next, I'll try the Pirates Booty from my 3 ml set...
I stl
I also wanted to try Serendipity but they don't have that in 3ml sample size... Since my initial impressions of Legend are pretty good, I think I'll probably like Serendipity too.
I'm also thinking about ordering pipe and cigar e-liquids from NET.com. From cigars:
Crown
The Boss
Yesteryear
From Pipes:
Balkan
Black Cavendish
Chris' Blend
I won't make the same mistake again and this time, I'll order 10-15 ml each so I can vape them once in a while while they're steeping for 1.5 months.
I have a question for the NET pros, gurus and aficionados out there.... How do ~1 month aged Serendipity and Huntsman compare to the similarly aged pipe juices from NET.com in terms of complexity and overall enjoyment? Are they unique enough to be in a NET fan's juice library in addition to stuff from NET.com? I think somehow I got biased from these forums and now I think that NET.com's pipe juices might be more complex and interesting...
Thanks!
There's very little in common between NET.com and HHV (steeped or unsteeped). It's too early for me to try to explain, but suffice it to say, NET.com is working with much less ornamentation than HHV. Both can be in your stash, but they will scratch totally different itches. For me, HHV is the type of tobaccos that can keep you from itching for sweets while still getting a touch of tobacco where as NET.com soothes the tobacco itch in whole. AT least that's how those work for me.
Thanks, very well put! This is exactly what I was trying to figure out. It sounds like NET.com juice has more of a good tobacco complexity which I will most likely appreciate. From my very limited experience with the Legend, I can see what you mean about tobacco+sweets combo -- perhaps a good replacement for both a piece of pie and a cigarette/pipe after dinner.
