Oh, I get it all right. I just don't care about it.

I agree with johni. Every coil gets gunked, just a question of how long it takes and how much flavor is lost from the burned on carbon.

That's my experience as well. My RDAs gunk up at the same rate as disposables. It helps to make small diameter, touching wrapped coils that look like EM and Cisco spec coils, and thicker wire seems to build up gunk slower too.

Bill's comment about "burned on carbon" is important. An atty that is kept constantly wet will go longer than one that keeps getting vaped close to dry. Don't let the stuff get burnt onto the coil. With disposables, I redripped at the first sign of flavor loss instead of waiting until the vapor diminishes. Same concept with rebuildable drippers; drip early and drip often (or SQUONK! often if that's the case).

Whoops.. I guess coils and gunking had already been thoroughly discussed.

I'd just like to add for Mann.. keep it simple! But, the pre-wrapped coils your using just won't get good results, standard twisted silica is crap and the coils on them aren't built right, so gotta learn to wrap a coil. Yes, there are thousands of variations and ways to coil. Ignore all them and pick one of two options; micro coil with cotton like Johni or mini coil with silica like Jef and I. Cotton can use tiny coils since it wicks so well, but silica like German and Eko is done on a slightly bigger coil. The only tinkering is learning how to wrap a Cisco spec like coil; after that it's easy-peasy.

8-10 wraps of 28ga Kanthal on German silica or Ekowool silica for about 1ohm on a mech; my personal nirvana. Also, drop the eBDP and try a simple $5 ERA clone (or IGO-S or A6).

I don't know from music but poorly sound-edited movies are one of my pet peeves. I remember watching The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo in the movie theatre, and not quite believing that the gusting wind and chirping birds were louder than the dialogue at some points.

Besides that, it was an awesome movie. But that REALLY bugged me.

I just watched that movie the other day. It was good. Weird and disturbing in parts, but still good.

I've read the books and seen the original movies and American version movie, loved them all.

I can't think of many things NET related more exciting (and rare) than Nick releasing new NETs at Goodejuice. Anyone try Bananana Montana (BM, hehe) or Analog yet? Analog sounded ho-hum until I read Nick say this about it..

"The Analog flavor is provided with a Naturally Extracted Tobacco base from double toasted air cured burley. We're using a little different brewing method with this one to achieve a naturally sweeter tobacco flavor, with an analog feel, that can make the mind think "cigarette." A very flavorful dark cavendish is blended with the burley. It's really easy to get along with and at high nicotine levels will truly satisfy. It's a very clean burning NET."

I don't really care for Banana Montana. The banana really takes a front seat to the tobacco. It's just a bit much for me. Not a candy Runtz taste, but not really natural tasting either.

Now Analog, on the other hand, is quite good. I had to let it sit for a few days to evaporate a chemically taste. But now it's very good with a nice toasty Burley presence. It really does remind me of a cigarette, but one that tastes good (unrealistic in that sense).

That's too bad. Maybe it's a sleeper, and months later will turn out to transform like Vita. Candied Cavendish from TPR tasted like a banana Runt until a long steep it was more like banana bread.

That's cool about Analog. Wrangler Light was like that for me; yes, like a cig, but unlike a cig it tastes really good. The truly authentic analog type vapes have a bit of nasty in them to recreate the cig experience.

This aging has had a lovely effect on my Frankenjuiced bottle of 2/3 NLV Bounty Hunter and 1/3 Vita Bella, which is a bit younger (only 16 months old), but tastes better now than when it was "created."

Ooooh, this caught my attention. These are two of my favorite juices but I never thought of mixing them!

The Bounty Hunter would probably help to thin out the VB, too, which would be a good thing for my equipment.

Nah cherry, I think it just rounds off a review well when someone vapes a particular juice, expresses their feelings about how the juice tastes and comments on what flavours they are picking up in it. In televised cooking shows, the chef always has at least one try of the food.

Some juice reviewers will take their first vape of a juice they are reviewing during the review to present their most rawest first impressions of it to try and render a faithful and sincere review.

So, to make sure they're not lying in what they SAY about the juice? Really?

So today I had to question my belief on nanner tobaccos. I pulled out Candied Cavendish from The Plume Room.

I reluctantly grabbed the bottle and gave the customary whiff--yep, nanner. I don't like that smell of banana flavoring. At. All. But, I have to vape this, I have to. I dropped a few drops and here we go...

Banana on the inhale and a surprisingly present tobacco (some type of Cavendish) on the exhale. On the subsequent vapes, the play between the nanner and the tobacco was stunningly unpredictable--one second it was nanner and the next it was Cavendish.

Here's the thing though--though the nose of the liquid is COMPLETELY candy, not candied, banana, but the vape is very creamy, like a banana is, and not all that artificial. Actually, the banana tastes more like a banana pudding to my buds. How does that sound with tobacco? Probably nasty, but this vapes in an-about-face fashion from how I remember it. Will I vape this? Dunno how much, but, I can say that it is a great liquid for those looking for that taste.

I am very surprised. Good job, Andrea.

After being recently smitted, or entranced by Halo's latest 2 TINOs, one a fruity bacco, the other a citrus bacco, I now need to try some NET fruit-baccos, and some notable exceptions (CAT and Georgia peach from HHV).

Seems that I am all about the sweet of late. And my TO DO list expands.

You may want to try Darth Vapers too as they specialize in those kinda tobaccos.

I found HHV Georgia Peach Tobacco (not a NET) tremendously disappointing. I figured I'd love it since I enjoy HHV juice in general and the company is based in Georgia so they know their peaches. What I got was a good tobacco flavor and a good peach flavor fighting each other. The flavor clash made it unenjoyable to me.

RPad (plus jefsview and everyone else),

Have you tried Sweet Georgia Peach from Ahlusion? One of their aromatic NETs. My 15ml bottle is languishing in my stash, because it turns out that I just don't like peach vapes, no matter how good they are. I hear tell, however, that many people love SGP like crazy.

I want to talk about tea vapes. :)

Mr Scarf-ace just bought one of those fancy-schmancy temperarture-control teakettles, so that we can brew our oolongs and greens and whites at their proper water temperatures. I still have a strong coffee in the morning and a decaf before bed, but nearly all my beverages in between have been replaced by tea.

Here are some NETs that go really well with tea:
TastyVapor Tobacco (nice leafy-sweet undertone)
GEJ Patriot
Ahlusion Honey Cured (extra-yummy if you sweeten your tea with honey)
TPR Honey-Fig Tobacco (ditto)
GEJ Wild Cherry Point

Other non-baccos I'm liking are Ahlusion Zing! and Virgin Vapor Drunken Pirate Pudding, which I previously had little use for.

Strangely, my HHV NETs, which are my daily staples and work brilliantly with coffee, are not that tea-friendly. Don't know why.

What are some of La Cosa NETstra's favorite tea companions?

With Lapsang Suchong, A+s Peach Wild Woods. :) Or the Apple Wild Woods.

With Constant Comment or most other teas, I love my Frankenjuiced Orange de House Blend :)laugh:) or good old Sahara Blend!

In other news, I recently acquired my first VV (don't giggle!). I've been vaping on Halo Tritons at about 3.7 volts; by turning up the voltage to 4.0-4.2, many of my NETs are becoming super smoooooooothe -- the good got better, the great got fantabulous! :D :w00t:
