How is the HH.357? Worth the extra money?

In my opinion it's not. Get a house of vapor Stingray for 40% of the cost. Or an Empire mods. Or a Smartvapes dripping atty.

The only thing the HH357 has over the others I listed is if you prefer a fast, hard draw. Otherwise it produce par, maybe even sub par vapor compared to what I listed. I've had through 4 of them. 2 popped within the first 3 days, one I got sick of and one I still have, unwrapped.

Save your money. If you and a 20 something dollar atty, get an nice rda. Of course, YMMV and all the other disclaimers.

Omg, guess what! I scored a 30ml bottle of smooth criminal as an express liquid! I never even bother looking at them because they never seem to be available... But I was bored waiting for the store to open.. clicked on SC and noticed the option to add to cart.. so I did. :) It's a little higher nic than I wanted, but I still use 18 too. So YAY now I wont have to wait until Halloween to taste the magic. Patience isn't my strong suit.

So I got.. peach wildwood, smooth criminal, gold rising and boba tea.. I requested one of the river trees as a sample. I guess I wasn't really sold on it considering wildwood is described as the new and improved version of river tree.. but I still want to try it though. And vecchio. Just not enough to buy 30ml of it.

Great choices! And wow, you lucked out on getting SC as an XPress. Seems they're trickling in to 'in stock' with more flavors.

What's the deal with Vecchio?

I have some steeping now about 2 and 1/2 weeks but I take it from these posts not much to look forward too

It's vanilla bean when people are expecting the vanilla they're used to. It's also not nearly as good without the "strong tobacco" option.

That would pizz me off if I spent $20 and it popped on me within 3 days. No warranty either I'll bet.

Agreed, skip Vecchio. If you want a vanilla tobacco from Ahlusion, get the aforementioned Vanilla Wild Wood.

How so?

Thanks for your comment on the K100. Awesome that you won it. IIrc, that's what really got you in to vaping, correct?

Yep, VCV's Burley Beard is very good. I get that and blue beard by the 120ml. Make sure to try Blue Beard, too. It's a bright Virginia with essence if Blue and Blackberry. Ever so slightly detectable. If you'd like a little more of the berry essence, ask for it "Adam's style". Named after yours truly. :)

Also, your friend is correct that they extract their own TA, or Tobacco Absolute. Think of it as tobacco hash, pretty much. However, your friend is incorrect that it's extracted from green leaf. I assure you the tobacco is cured before extraction. Which means it's tan/brown/has absolutely NO Chlorophyll (or Borophyll - however you want to look at it ).

Also try their White Beard Tobacco. If you'd rather have regular, plain Vanilla instead of Vanilla Custard, once again ask for it "Adam Style". Julie will know what you mean.

No. I was already vaping. But it got me into DRIPPING. And forced me into buying 18650 and 18350 batteries ;) I had/have a MVP otherwise, plus the Halo Triton kit.

You don't have to read all 16,000 posts. See the gray horizontal bar above the first post on the page? It has six pull-down menus. One of them is "Search Thread." If you pull down that menu and type "burley beard tobacco" in the box, the search engine will then show you all 35 posts in this thread that contain the words in the search string. Convenient, eh?

One of those posts is my review of VCV Burley Beard, White Beard, and Vanilla Tobacco:

Three Natural Tobaccos from VelvetCloudVapor

Bill, I wish you did more NET reviews. No one reviews like you. Actually, I want a Bill clone to do a Big NET Roundup.

I've heard the VCV NETs are reverse steepers. Have you found that to be the case? I'm going to order from them in my next round of orders, some tobaccos and some desserts.

HC is good. Vurley is superior. Imo, of course. They're both great, though.

Look forward to it, nothing wrong with Vecchio. It's a lot like Vurley, with a unique roasted vanilla bean taste, but less tobacco kick than Vurley.

The only thing the HH357 has over the others I listed is if you prefer a fast, hard draw. Otherwise it produce par, maybe even sub par vapor compared to what I listed.

I gotta agree with this, and it's why I ended up not caring for it. BUT, and this is a big but, Sir Mix-a-lot style, IF you do prefer a fast, hard draw the HH can't be beat with disposable atties. Best flavor and vapor I've experienced in a 510, but only works properly with the hard draw so get the vaccuum effect to work. I don't vape like that, so wasn't a keeper for me. If I did, my search for a topper would have ended with that.

Plus, lifetime warranty.. if it breaks they'll fix it for a few dollars.

I haven't noticed either improvement or deterioration in my VCV tobaccos over time, so I guess I'd put them into the neutral category with regard to steeping. YMMV.

I want an MVP.. the new V2 maybe. Never used a box shaped mod.

If you like Vecchio but wished it had more tobacco.. you'll LOVE Vurley. I have Honey Cured that I'll be starting on shortly. Not sure how I'll like it; like Big Juicy the honey vapes can be a hard sell to me. I do like Gold Rising though (and Honey-Fig from TPR).

Thanks for that. I'll still put them in rotation right away instead of my normal setting aside until I get to it months later that's been happening lately. Won't vape it up like it's on a timer like I do with Fire Cured from GeJ and a couple of the flavored Ahlusion aros.

Did you have any of their non-baccos that you'd recommend? Scarfy enjoys a couple of their chocolate desserts.

Looking forward to the MVP V2, too. MVP v1 has been a workhorse, is solidly built and lasts 2 days on a charge, plus fits well in the hand. V2 has resistance checker and wattage! Best bang for your buck.

The Vecchio I purchased (with the "stronger tobacco" option) is a straightforward and "standard" vanilla tobacco. Pleasant and largely neutral, with nothing to offend. Vurley, on the other hand, uses Ahlusion's relatively aggressive Blue Grass Burley, so it's a vanilla tobacco with that unique tang and bite.

Vurley gets my attention every time, but a short session with Vurley goes a long way. Not what you'd call an all-day-vape. Vecchio isn't nearly as exciting, but it's an easier, less demanding vape. I now have three variations: 100% Vecchio, 100% Vurley, and a 40/60 Vecchio-Vurley Frankenblend.

Trust me I am not a defender of HHs, but they're covered for as long as you have them. Send 'em back and they'll fix whatever.

I just went to the site and saw that there is "no warranty" with these, but I don't think that's the same thing as sending them, back for repair. YCY, any thoughts? I never sent mine back, though I was told I could at any point send it back.

Someone else just mentioned that too. Hmmm. Hear that Shat! You have $40 worth of bad HH's. Send 'em back.

Gotta believe if you have them three days and they pop they would make you whole again. But if he sat on them then it is doubtful.

Vecchio's good for resetting the taste buds when vaping Vurley; after a short session with it Vurley's Burley kick is brought back to the front. I actually mixed my Vurley with Sweet Gergia Peach.. kind of regret it, kind of really like it.

I thought they were fully warrantied for 30 or 60 days, and after that they would be fixed for a small fee. That must have changed or I may be wrong, like Mann said YCY should have the facts straight for that. I only have one, that still works, so never tried it myself.
