For some reason, I've always been sensitive to odors. If I get a wift of something unexpected or unusual, It takes a long while to get it out of my mind. Like that smell when you first turn the furnace on at the beginning of Winter, or the smell of a waffle iron coil, or the smell of stale cigarette smoke in someone's car or house (of course, I never could smell my own stale smoke when I smoked).
My first impression with SC was overwhelmingly nutty, other than the chemical/perfume taste--that was it.
I let all my A+ breath for over 12 hours and the Vurley has lost nearly all of the chem/perfume I was getting (more on Vurley later) but I've decided to just cap SC and let it steep a few weeks--but I expect breathing has removed the chem. taste from it too.
anyone try the Vape Dudes Classic tobacco vape? Pretty darn close to the real deal....
Never had it. Not sure if many here have since it's an artificially flavored tobacco, and the main topic here is naturally extracted tobaccos.
Not that I know of. Started out vaping with Evo (Marichino and Dakota), then exclusively to NETS (In fact, the only RY4-a-like I've ever tried is GJ4)
Thanks. Good points. I need to retry this after two weeks or so. To me the main component in BGB is very similar to what I got in Balkan, which I think is Latakia. I found this:

Burley is another strain of nicotiana tabacum, which includes virtually every type of tobacco used commercially. The leaves of this plant are moderately sized, and the plants are grown widely from the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S., through the south and into the Midwest. In addition, Burley is cultivated in Canada, Malawi, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina.
What characterizes Burley are its low sugar content, high oils and moderate to high nicotine. The dark strains of the plant are earthy, spicy and cigar-like, and have a heavy vitamin N jolt, whereas the lighter Burleys (generally referred to as White Burley) are nutty, sometimes with a bit of a cocoa note, and a more moderate nic kick.
Most types of tobacco are cured primarily using a single method of curing, but Burley is an exception. Burley is usually air-cured, meaning that time and the movement of air through the barn are what dries and cures the leaf. Dark Burley used in cigars (like DeNobili and Parodi) are sometimes fermented after curing. Another type of dark Burley is dark-fired (most often referring to Kentucky Burley), which is cured over an open fire, and the tobacco is flavored with the smoke, similar to the way that Latakia is made.
I'm suspecting that there's some fire cured tobacco in BGB.

Speaking of Honey Cured, I'm vaping it now. No idea how old it is, I've had it for a while and it was gifted to me. The tangy honey flavor has backed off recently, and it's really good with the tobacco and just a hint of honey. Not sure how long someone would have to age it to get to this point.
IMHO, the vast majority of folks vaping do not take the time to research, taste and share their experiences in order to even have a clue as to what's available. I tend to go a bit overboard with researching and learning about most anything I'm going to use for my pleasure including Scotch, Wine, Cigars and now vaping.
Those of us that participate on these boards are the exception, not the norm. It's certainly not at all hard for me to believe that Halo is considered the greatest thing since sliced bread since they are probably the most commercialized product out there and provide a "decent" vaping experience. Same with cigars. Some of major cigar companies that market to the US basically stole the Cuban brand names, ie. Montecristo, Bolivar, Cohiba, etc and sell far more cigars, in the US, then boutique brands that are far superior to any of these brands.
I am just so happy that so many folks on this thread (and several others) are willing to share their knowledge and experience which has helped me to find most of the best products available.
Vaping Fabulous & Burley from the River Bottom line. Like Vurley from Ahl, it's vanilla and Burley, but flavorwise is nothing like it. It actually reminds me a lot of Vermillion River's Vanilla Kentucky Blend. It's a light Burley with a nice mild vanilla. Very good flavor, but nothing revolutionary or extremely unique. I wish I had more Vanilla Kentucky from VR to compare it to, because it really is reminding me a lot of that juice.

Yes, I feel that the 30ml bottle I purchased of Ahlusion Blue Grass Burley when fresh was probably the most amazing NET I've ever vaped in terms of "WOW!" factor. Absolutely incredible.
That said, BGB isn't a juice I like all that much by itself, so I've used it mainly to add punch and sparkle to other tobacco juices. Unfortunately, my particular bottle of BGB didn't age well. Over time, it lost so much of its brightness and astonishing impact that it eventually rejoined the ranks of "ordinary" NETs I have. Like a king who had to abdicate his throne and become a commoner.
