New Years eve is always a great time to be in Sydney with some of the best fireworks displays in the world. Any time from November through to Feb is good beach weather. If plane tickets and accommodation is too much around that time then around January 26 is also a good time. Jan 26 is Australia day and the whole country is awash with the colours of Oz, sailing ships in the harbour, fireworks and pub crawling.

What's a good month? I need a bit to save some more, anyway. I need a freaking vacation, BAD. I go to visit my Mother in Merida, Mexico (she G T F O of the U.S.) and my Father in Oklahoma. I want something different. And Australia sounds exactly what I'd like.

100 in the shade but not too sticky, depending where you are in the country. Melbourne and Sydney vary from day to day and can be 70s with low humidity or 100+ occasionally. It's great beach weather though. Canberra is a real stinker in summer being inland a bit and not having the seabreeze to cool things off after those northerlies come in from the vast deserts in the interior.

Freezing cold and damp beats the crap out of Houston weather, lately. Upper 80s/low 90s with 75-80% humidity. 0_o .... What's the weather like in Feb-March?

I just got out of the shower and I'm sweating. Meh.

Some tobaccos can be a little harder for me to place. Is it Burley? Is it Virginia, air cured or Cavendish? Is there some Turkish in the blend? Perique is a bit easier, but it's Latakia that is easy to spot even before the inhale. Even a touch of Latakia is quite easy to notice right away, no question.

This morning I'm enjoying Southern Gentleman from MoutainOakVapors. It has Virginia, Burley, Perique, and Black Cavendish, with a touch of Latakia. The restaint shown with the Latakia is impressive; I notice it easily but it doesn't overshadow the other tobaccos in the blend. There's even a very slight funkiness I sometimes notice, I'm thinking from the Perique. SoGent isn't a juice that impressed me right away, but my appreciation deepens each session I take with it.

SG was a huge hit with me out of my BCCs. I tried it on johni's dual coil phoenix and... whoa baby!

yeah, my jaw dropped on that one. It dropped again when I saw him over in the ebaron pro thread praising an rba.

Before you know it, he'll probably be welding nr and resistance wire together. :D

Aye, that's the very one. Must be a great flavor.

Yes sir! It's on my list to try, probably pick up the sampler from them.

Though it is off topic, Five Pawns does make high quality juices - I don't particularly like liquids that are too sweet and i really don't generally like desert juices. This one is an exception.

The sampler is worth getting for sure. There are some in there (read: Absolute Pin) that I would get in smaller batches just to have around.

And the packaging is really well done

My latest solution. I've been having a few of my drippers going at a time with different juices, which I stand up on the post so they don't leak when not connected to a mod. Along with the mod I'm currently not using, all that tends to get knocked over at regular intervals as they sit on my end table. So here's my years old Halo sampler tin, with 3 drippers loaded with juice, the juices that are going in them, the mod I'm not currently using, and a to-go set-up ready to grab when I head out. Now I need something to put my charged IMR batts in, as was it's previous use. Or buy another Halo sampler (hope they still use the tins). Man this simple thing has been handy through-out the last couple years.

Jerms - I did the exact same thing for a long time. It works well. Thanks to Halo for sending us a stand along with their juices :D

I did end up buying a stand from tenderfoot that I really like - he sells them through the MOV website if you want to have a look.

Very nice indeed. The Halo tin can't compete, though it does come with free juice :D

LOL nice :)

I have that one with the drawer beneath it - it stores charged batteries and my wick/wire. Huge fan

I just saw you had reviewed it. Very nice. I store my wick and wire at the table I rebuild at, but that drawer would be good for juice storage. I know what I'll be asking Santa for this year. I think I'd stain it for a darker color.

the drawer is too short for 30ml bottles with the drippers installed unfortunately, works great for 10s and most 15s. I am getting drawers to go on each end of it that are taller for the 30s - it will also allow for a place for my pipes and box mods. Hopefully, it will look slick when its done :)

I had a business trip all lined up to a place just south of Melbourne about a year ago. It got cancelled at the last minute. I was relieved I didn't have to fly 17 hours (or whatever it was) but disappointed I didn't get to see Australia. One day.

Pulled the trigger on my first mech just now. Sigelei #20 with upgraded switch and spring. How exciting!

I've been vaping on dulce cubanito today to try to get a feel for it. The strange taste I have got from most of Ahlusion's NETs I've tried is starting to taste more powdery to me. Very hard to describe. Wlad said to just let it steep, so steep some more it will! For the record, Wlad said it may just be my taste preference to burley, but then went on to say that the non aros are based on cavendish. I get it from the non aros too. Dang! I really want to like this juice!

Anybody looking for a good dripping atty? There is a co-op going on for the Phoenix V4 through V8. Prices are extremely cheap and the co-op host is a good guy. The V5 has two negative posts, dual air holes, and adjustable air draw. It is the one I'm liking my dual coils on. V4 and V8 are small, very similar to the ones Jerms is using.

We really ought to put a curfew on Mr.Mann. No going into other threads after 11pm. He goes silly crazy when he stays out late.

He is really loved by all on this thread :)

I got my #20 the other day... I know I got an upgraded spring but I'm not certain about the switch though it is a SS button. I love the length of it, even in 18650 mode, in fact I think I prefer it longer for some odd reason. The switch on mine has been a bit cantankerous to fire and sometimes I have to fiddle with it to get it to fire. It may be getting better but I won't know until I use it more. I do prefer a top switch, which is part of why I got one besides the looks and size. I've also been running mine with a Kick... which has been nice. I didn't realize how much the PWM flutter on the VAMO sounded until after switching back to a Kick'd mod. I know some people complain about the aesthetics of the raised 510 connector, I'm not one of those that cares and I certainly would complain if the airflow was cut off by a flush top connector on certain vaporizers.

Overall, I really like mine with the exception of how the switch is currently acting... and I hope it "breaks in" and starts working more reliably later.
