IMHO you don't need to refrigerate organic NF flavors, or juices made from them. There is plenty of alcohol to preserve it, possibly citric acid as well, and refrigerating NF cream flavors often makes them precipitate.

I have a slew of NF flavors and have been experimenting like crazy. I wasn't going to post until I had them exactly where I want them, but ....

Vanilla Cola
4 ml nicotine VG base, 100mg/ml
9 ml VG
3 ml distilled water
2 ml NF Cola
2 ml NF Vanilla

This one is good, but on the next round I'll do 3 ml Cola and 1 ml Vanilla. The Cola by itself is FANTASTIC at 20%. The vanilla doesn't really pop as vanilla, but it does smooth out the flavor. I may try this with a tad NF Brown Sugar to give some sweetness.

Waffles
4 ml nicotine VG base, 100mg/ml
9 ml VG
3 ml distilled water
1.3 ml NF Cake Batter
1.3 ml NF Brown Sugar
1.3 ml NF Maple

Tastes nothing like waffles but MAN the maple is GOOD, as is the brown sugar. This one came out like one of Virgin Vapor's flavors, though I can't remember which one.

These are only the good ones, I've played with MANY. For the most part, 20% flavor is good for NF, though Raspberry is too strong at that level. Brandy is interesting, it's much sweeter than you'd think, but also has some crispness. More like a kind of sangria. I really don't care for the Bavarian Creme, it's got a bite to it that doesn't go away with steeping. Caramel Creme on the other hand is great, you might want to try that with Vanilla.

I don't get strong "vanilla" notes from NF Vanilla, but it adds smoothness. Did that Vanilla Creme taste very vanilla-y? What I'm getting at is, what combos of NF flavors could make up a custom flavor, that they sell just to HDV? IME I'd guess maybe NF Vanilla plus NF Brown Sugar, based on the flavors I have.

I've never had Copper Creek, but I can give you some feedback on NF flavors. Their plain vanilla is very plain, I would suggest trying their Vanilla Creme, many here like it. I don't think NF has a cookie dough- you might try Cake Batter, which is another good one. NF Brown Sugar is AMAZINGLY sweet and delicious, but it is a carto killer.

Honestly I've been using NF Pina Colada in my sweeter recipes, it adds a nice tang and some sweetness, and dilutes the thick heavy flavors, keeping the vape light and saving cartos.

Have to get cookie dough straight from NF. Its like a $20 minimum with shipping but if that's what they are using id be willing to buy 4oz :p

I'm getting a 10ml of cake batter too because of this thread but house blend is deff one of those 2 mixes i listed. (with a light tobacco)

I have no idea where they get their tobaccos but its so light in the mix i think any will be ok.

Also, I have searched high and low to buy vanilla cream direct from NF and haven't found what High Desert Vapes sells. NF only has one vanilla cream that's not somehow supposed to be for Ecigs and I got a big batch of it and it was horrible. So I'm wondering if High Desert Vapes mixing NF flavors together to make it proprietary. If anyone has more info, please let me know cause its my all day Vape.

I can't remember which company it is but one of them sells the concentrated extracts not the coffee/tea flavors. And it seems to me that the people who have better experience with NF buy from them.

I use NF exclusively also. And as skoot says, it does exist naturally also in vanillas during extraction. But NOT all NF flavors have it. We as vapers have to decide personally what we want to vape and if it affects us so...But yea, I really do like their flavors ALOT! And when I first started vaping, I really didn't think I would enjoy VG so much because other VG based flavors I tried lost flavor, but I really have liked NF's flavors and I like the alcohol base for throat hit, which has allowed me to lower my nic, and the flavors last and don't die away.

Edit...when I say at the end "the flavors last and don't die away" I mean most VG based juices I tried would lose flavor after awhile and NF's don't seem to.

Can't believe I read this entire thread. I've been looking into Nature's Flavors recently as a means to match some of the Virgin Vapor premixes I like but want to DIY.

Read a lot about the question of Diacetyl but don't recall reading what the outcome was. I'm not sure if this is new to their web site since then, but the site lists the following under the Flavors menu option....

FLAVORS WITHOUT DIACETYL
Flavor for Coffee Without Diacetyl
Organic Flavor for Coffee Without Diacetyl

Organic Flavor for Coffee Without Diacetyl | Flavors Without Diacetyl | Flavors

I thought this listing would make it a lot easier to find safe eliquid-compatible products on their site. Organic Caramel Cream wasn't on the list, but it is on the other (non-organic) list and shown as "Caramel Cream Coffee and Tea Flavor without Diacetyl Organic, Product code NF-8831". OK... so should the word organic not be in the product's text, or should the product be moved to the organic list? I'm just glad it's on a list :) I emailed them and look forward to a correction. I suspect it belongs in the organic list, just wanted to give a heads up to anybody else who might feel disappointed looking for the organic version of that flavor.

EDIT: I just looked at their site and they made the correction. Caramel Cream now appears under the diacetyl-free organic list, but it's at the top where it's out of alphabetical order.

That's a good question, Smogger. I get mine from High Desert Vapes. I haven't gotten them directly from NF. I tried once and ordered a big bottle of NF's Vanilla Cream only to find it totally different than what I was getting from HDV. I steeped it and left the top off and messed with it for weeks and it was still horribly different. I wish I could find it somewhere on NF that is like HDV's, but haven't so far. That is weird to me and I don't understand it. I ordered with a friend before. I guess we need to try ordering more of the other flavors directly from NF but haven't due to the high shipping costs. I guess we haven't found other flavors we liked enough to order in bulk yet, but we are working on it because we are trying a ton of their flavors from HDV.

As far as shelf life, I'm not sure. Another good question. I read somewhere that you should keep organic flavorings in the refridgerator, so that's where I keep mine. My friend doesn't though. So far after almost a year, we haven't noticed a problem but I have to admit we go through the flavors we do get quite regularly. lol.

I've tried ECF NF flavors, and have a bunch of original NF bottles, but none are the same flavor.

I asked NF specifically about refrigeration and was told not to, as it would cause some flavors to break down and create a white film on the bottom of the bottles. Also, IMHO not a good idea to steep the flavor itself, if that's what you did. The alcohol preserves it, so the bottle lasts longer. Or maybe you meant you mixed up the juice and steeped that, which of course is fine.
